Perhaps wael needs to be an owner and let others run the clubs various aspects. I might be questioning some senior staffs abilities and looking for potential replacements. Fans wont like this...but... Wael needs to stop bailing the club out financially. If we are losing money then the budget has to be cut . That will mean a smaller senior squad with more of the academy players making up the numbers. The club as a whole (including fans) needs to have an honest conversation about who we are and what are our actual needs and expectations. That is a conversation about rovers today not rovers of the 50s and 60s. Not how many fans go to wembley. Not a rovers that might play in the championship some day. Rovers that are a league one league 2 yoyo team. What is needed to make THAT rovers sustainable and stable and hopefully a settled league one team. Decades of super stadium talks to support a championship/premier league team have been pointless and actually harmful to the club. Lets become a good league one team with a good league one stadium. We can worry about anything else if it happens. This is exactly right and failure to do so is almost always the reason a club ceases to exist - Bury, Darlington, Chester and so many more - the similarities in those stories are all so striking: an owner trying to buy success up the pyramid instead of nurturing and stabilising what they have. I would recommend everyone listen to the podcast Out of Our League available on BBC Sounds and Spotify about the collapse of Bury. Those are 3 small town northern clubs (who all had "dodgy" owners?) what about the likes of Brighton, Cardiff, Reading and City who seem to be doing OK with wealthy law abiding benefactors? Although didn't we try cutting the wage bill and developing youth last season, which ended in relegation.

joey has brought in his own players i will give you that! he has in my opinion not realised the challange the 4th tier of football holds and i expect all the brash talk of promotion has bitten him on the bum at the moment he is running like a dog between his legs but one thing he has never shied away from what he wants to for our great club forget about his private life we all want the best for the club we have as supporters suffered over these last few seasons but getting rid of the manager now i believe would send us into the conference league bring in someone else but they are still the same players what will the new man say i didnt sign these they are not my players. we seem to be going around in circle like groundhog day i understand the frustration, but its going to take time nobody wants to lose at home im a season ticket holder and will back the manager all the way give the man some room! i know his record is poor but its only 10 games hopefully this defeat might prove to be the spark that changes our luck! now have a go! This post changed my life.

Brighton once had a dodgy owner who sold their ground from under the football club, luckily they were saved by a local benefactor who funded them until he was able to pay for their new stadium from his own funds. Cardiff are Welsh so don't count. We don't talk about the last one who we used to play against in the league nearly a quarter of a century ago.

i didnt sign these they are not my players. Everyone knows managers have to work with the players they have at the club when they're appointed. It's been a fact of the game since forever. The 'these aren't his players' thing is just some bullshit excuse the JB apologists came up with when we sank without trace last season. It's never been a reasonable excuse and never will be. So it's a complete red herring. It's not a real thing.

Football club ownership is for wealthy successful individuals, families, corporations and even States. It’s now a business transaction for these owners. Failure or success is par for the course as is most of the operations they control. It’s like collecting super yachts, property cars ect. A great expression of wealth, and an opportunity to tap into huge revenues, when you get to the top of the tree. Fair play to these individuals, if I had my time again I wish I had been this ruthless. Unfortunately for me I have a moral compass, which means I couldn’t do it to customers fans people who ever it effects. I have nothing against Wael what’s so ever, but we have to accept that this is a business transaction that potentially will reap rewards for the owner or when it costs to much it’s more prudent to liquidate and write off against other business interests. There is a football fan in there with Wael, ultimately he is a businessman/ from a business family. We can only hope he continues to be interested in our club, otherwise we will be in the hands of another multimillionaire businessman/ woman with much the same until they get bored or run out of money, or dare I say it see sense. Negative I know but realistic until the fashion of owning a football club fades or sky and BT stop demanding Billons to show footy on the tele. Soap box back in the garage……… Here you are mate. Over to you Topper

I was once a lost and frightened thing, wandering in darkness, afraid of the light. And then I found Biggles, riding a great dane across the valley of my soul and I knew then that it was all going to be ok. And as I turned away from the wind, I heard a whisper '25 more games'.

Over to you Topper Can't say I disagree but there's little we can do about it apart from hope that Wael doesn't get bored, or runs out of money, before he finishes the project. If he does then he sells us to someone willing to complete the project.

If being in League Two wasn’t depressing enough, being dreadful in League Two makes it worse. Just to think we had aspirations of being in the Championship not so long ago too.
Now having a positive goal difference playing the likes of Barrow and Harrogate every week seems to be a far off goal.

Blank. That is my thoughts. Not missed a home(league) game since 15 games before we were relegated to non league. A long run of which I was spoilt at the start. Now is just a feeling of numbness, speechless, all thoughts to the club I love just doesn’t exist anymore. I’m 40 next year, I feel more for every single Gashead that has stuck with us through, quite frankly dross since that fatal car crash season Holloway delivered. Yes little (but big and exciting ) success to get back to no where.
I know I’ll re new again next season, but as things stand it will be with serious consideration.
That’s all I can do.
