In a few short years it’s gone from we’re going to build a sustainable Championship club with a new stadium to “you’re lucky to still have a club”
I like Wael but it just made me feel sad watching that.

That comment he made about you are lucky to have a club he is talking about the pandemic remember how much football clubs have lost money due to that

That comment he made about you are lucky to have a club he is talking about the pandemic remember how much football clubs have lost money due to that Surprisingly given all the talk of clubs going bankrupt last season not one did, even Swindon seem to have come out of it with no major debts. Only Derby seem to have had any major issues.

He is hardly going to come on tv and say he is not going to back Barton lose Saturday and he will be gone Why bother coming on though, if that is the situation? I fear whatever happens on the field, Barton will be here all season.

Paul Merson once said the chairman doesn’t sack the manager. The fans sack the manager.
He talks a lot of bollocks though.

We ain't ever getting a new stadium. We will be lucky to be football league side again soon. I am sorry but we have squandered a few years we had to get a stadium project really moving with some excitement from us fans. Non league and we are done, I can't see us bouncing straight back again.

There was a bailout for football clubs wasn’t there? Yes Premier league agreed to give payouts to all lower league clubs . So I imagine we would have survived without Wael having to put to much money in

I've mostly been behind Wael during his entire tenure.
There is a hell of a lot to feel let down about as a supporter.
On the field we've slid back from being a promotion chasing side in 2nd at half time vs Wimbledon Boxing Day 2019, to straddling the bottom of League two and winning hardly any games in the 21 months subsequent. We've been through 3 managers who've been unable to buy a win and been promised the earth by all of them. How often b
Ok, fair enough, we're not entitled to success. However, nobody from the club has bothered to speak to supporters and explain the decisions that were made. We've got a missing Chief Exec and a director of football whom it's not clear if he's with the club anymore.
Off the field our manager, whom many already didn't want for his violent antics and pending court cases, has gone off and found himself a court case for a domestic violence incident. Guilty or not, what a shitshow.
Then whilst we've managed to finally get ourselves a glossy training ground our players are allegedly getting injured left right and centre.
As for stadiums, I completely understand the pandemic will have hampered matters but we haven't heard anything solid regards stadiums in the last 24 months. Having came in now approaching 6 years ago we've gone from having a ready to proceed plan for a stadium to having absolutely nothing concrete and visible to supporters.
Season tickets wise they don't turn up until 3 games in and even then you're lucky if they turned up for then. Refunds and credit goes missing left right and centre. The whole operational base has been replaced from known supporters of the club who've worked there decades to faceless companies whom don't really give a sh** when things go wrong. Apparently we're a more efficient and modern commercial outfit now. Doesn't feel like it. I defended a lot of this for a number of years as it appeared to be steps in the right direction but its by and large embarrassing. All is well though because we got a free pen with our season tickets.
I've personally had about Dam enough.
Even Nick Higgs gave us a fortnightly update even if it was full of sh**.

4 Sack Garner when we were showing small signs of improvement and replace him with a manager with a poor record at league 1 level. Garner's last 3 home games were: Hull 3-1 Posh 2-0 F/wood 4-1 What small improvements were you seeing that most of us weren't? As far as JCH we're not Spurs we can't force a want away player to stay. Why only mention the last three home games?. Garners last 4 away games to add some balance, he won 3 and drew the other one. So maybe those small signs of improvement.

"Where is the CEO? That points to problems at the top. Nobody doubts Wael Al Qadi’s unwavering commitment – what he has done for this football club is nothing short of incredible. But you must question the people he has surrounded himself with and Starnes is the first in line here. He has been involved in the appointment of these three managers (although it's unclear how much Barton was his pick). He is nowhere to be seen as the club slide down the leagues and must answer serious questions if our slide does not stop. Surely the club needs a fresh structure with new faces in at the top?"

Just fold the club and put us out our misery. If that ever happened we would just start again with a Phoenix club. There will always be Bristol Rovers.

Joey Barton FC. Wael and Starnes have foolishly invested far more in JB that just the managerial position. They let him fill the club with his staff and even put a mate on the board. Complete negligence. And before anyone says it, it doesn't matter one bit that he financially supported us. That doesn't give him carte blanche to be negligent with our club.
Vote with feet time maybe. I already have but maybe thats the only way to force change.
