Bit more….Board and people running the club not to blame Unfair to blame the board (allegedly) Board giving their all. Desperate to get out of it. Due to hard work of people at the club that were still around. What board? They are invisible men. Thing I don't understand is I though Barton did OK at Fleetwood so what's different here? Starnes and Widderington have see the back of DC, GC, BG, PT and JB has the worse managerial record in our history. We have had countless backroom changes and coaches in that time and we are still sh**. In fact we are getting worse. Anyone spot the constant in this equation? Wael? Particularly if the rumours are true that he pushed the Barton appointment through against the advice of the other board members?

Wael? Particularly if the rumours are true that he pushed the Barton appointment through against the advice of the other board members? Well if the board had already sanctioned Garner and Tisdale he probably thought he couldn't do any worse! That makes sense I suppose. Would explain Waels belligerence and why he brings an allied mind on to the board. Would also explain why Starnes is invisible and Wael is the one answering to the media. Perhaps Starnes said its your funeral I'm not going out to defend it if he initially didnt want the appointment. Either way him and Starnes have royally arsed up. Neither are worthy of making critical operational decisions for our club in my opinion.

It’s got to a point where I don’t know if I can be bothered, and I was there week in, week out during the Buckle/McGhee/Ward/Conference days! I’ve never known our fanbase so divided as we are now. I think a few more bad results over the next few weeks and that’ll be it for a lot of us.

I think this has been pointed out already but over the last couple of weeks the fan base has been fairly united in it’s feelings of frustration towards Barton and the recent results.

He's quieter than Ken Masters for the last 6 months or more - pretty puzzling, but just another part of the sh** show that Rovers currently are.

I am really pleased with my nice Pen and Wallet for holding my new season ticket. They are the best value for money part of the total package. Everything else is just downright depressing.

Since 1966 I have witnessed many lows and very few highs. Our brothers and sisters who are no longer with us must be spinning in their graves. What a bloody shambles this club has become. My stomach still turns each time I think of Wael hi jacking DC’s thunder and carried down the Gloucester Road held above jubilant Gas heads. Yes Mr Chairman you have paid out and kept us a float but you are destroying our club, be warned - IF we go back down to the conference, the club will die and your legacy will live on in the memories of those south of the river. I truly fear for the future of this club.

He is hardly going to come on tv and say he is not going to back Barton lose Saturday and he will be gone Might have been better to say nothing and give himself some wiggle room and so not look stupid when Barton eventually gets sacked or we get relegated. Saying nothing lets him keep all options open...never close an option until you have to.

Wael: "I'm very happy with the board we have. People are unfair to give that criticism of them. They do give their all for the club. People are very emotional when you lose, when you lose at home, It's very relentless. And we are desperate to get out of this. Please remember we've been through the most horrible time, not only us, everybody has. Thank God Bristol Rovers is still around and that is due to the hard work of the people at the club."

Why is it unfair? If they are giving their all then great, but they aren't good enough then sadly because look at us.

Supporters paying to get in, please don’t criticise the people being paid who have got us into this mess. I have never heard Wael or Starnes give an insightful interview, apart from maybe the fruit market one. That turned out well.

Questions has to be raised because since GC left, we've had 3 managers (plus caretaker managers) and we've won just 14 league games from 70. We've gained 55 points from a possible 210. Not acceptable whatsoever.

Not acceptable whatsoever. Train them, replace them, adjust processes, restructure. Whatever is needed. But something surely because no business survives on bloody goodwill. "I know he's amputated the wrong arm but you know he's trying his best, he spent a lot of time doing it. You're lucky he didn't kill you" There are forty odd teams who also managed to survive and whose leadership seem to be doing s lot better than ours.

After following me on Twitter for the last 4/5 years , Wael has unfollowed me for my mild criticism. 🙄
