Was not at the game Saturday, if anyone was there, was a tribute to Greg's read out? Intending to drive over for his farewell Thursday week. There wasn’t anything at all, I’ve no idea how these things get organised but as a lifelong gashead you,d have thought something could be done. |

I have contacted Caroline the organiser of the fund raiser regarding this and pointed her Christine and Clare in the direction of the club regarding this. Great to get something organised for this Saturday. |

I’m trying to sort this out as I figure the family have enough to deal with and I know Caroline doesn’t live in the uk. I’ve sent an email to Adam at the community trust as I’m not sure who to approach. Greg’s was 45 when he died, I’m trying to organise his picture on the board at 45 mins so us gasheads can send him off in the right way. I’m sure Adam will find a home for my email, hopefully he can help make this happen.

Right, I think TG is understandably busy but Adam at the community trust has come back to me and kindly agreed to try and organise. I’ve asked that Paul’s photo comes on the screen at 45mins, it would mean a lot if you can all join me in a round of applause and a verse of goodnight Irene. I’m sure you all will anyway UTG!

I’ve put a couple of posts in the Rovers Facebook pages, Greg’s was a proud Gashead for a whole lifetime, I hope we can give him the send off he deserves on Saturday, it would mean a lot.

I haven’t been on gas chat for a while except doing the Prediction league once a week , so I missed this very sad news.
Great write up Jon , I met him at the ffs get together and as everyone said he made you feel so at ease chatting to him and you immediately had a new mate , Thinking of him and all his family at this sad time RIP x

Just bumped into Clare, Paul's partner and his sister Christine at the ground.
Considering the circumstances they were in good spirits, passed on my condolences on behalf of lots of you on here.
They are going on the Thatchers terrace, so come on all gasheads let's show what we thought of Greg's on the 44th minute!
