Our reliance on Evans for goals from midfield is also a massive concern. Coutts & Finley forever in position to have a blast from the edge when they find the space, but always opt for that pass out wide. Infuriating at the best of times, no more so when you’re desperate for an equaliser.

Really gutted we don't have Tom Davies anymore, what an excellent defender he was when fit. Would make a hell of a difference to our back line. The defence is the weakest part of our team by far. Another solid player pushed out by Garner to make way for the absolute sh*te he brought in.

Another solid player pushed out by Garner to make way for the absolute sh*te he brought in. It was Barton who released him. Probably because of his injury record? www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-rovers-confirm-retained-list-5407823

Oh sorry, are we not allowed to comment on what our manager told us? I guess your comment about Harries being a liability and a defo red card is ok, but me commenting on what Joey said it viewed as negative? Get a grip. sick to death of JB this JB that, Harries is a liability but I say it once not over and over again Didn’t have to go back far. I have absolutely no confidence in Harries what so ever bad mistakes and a red card in the waiting I thought Connolly looked a carbon copy of Harries when Harries is playing I get really worried, 2 or 3 bad passes a game and qt least one which leads to the other team scoring and he is also clumsy and very nearly gets sent off, I feel so much more confident when he is not playing Maybe if Whelan and kilgour were fit, we'd be able to bring them on instead and see the game out 3-0. Or with harries fit move to a back 3? Strange game really, created loads of chances but kept losing our shape. I'd be inclined to bring Whealan back in if fit. If Harries was playing we would have lost 4 3 Why Harries, only weak link imo Kilgour is our weak link , he’s just not progressed as we hoped he would. agreed and I think you can put Harries in there aswell, did his normal 3 mistakes per game 😂😂

Just got home. If there’s one thing I hate more than losing, it’s partially closed motorway diversion routes!

The highlights were few Jaakolla made some vital saves the ability of Elliot Anderson was evident but had little support. We have over relied on Evans and despite injuries like all clubs experience we are a mid table side nothing more nothing less.
When is the Court case scheduled?

Tuning in on ifollow from koh phangan, Thailand tonight. No drinking tonight I’ve had enough. Alarm set for 02:40 Come on you blues UTG That’s some dedication! I often struggle to stay up for midweek games so I normally just watch the game back on iFollow the following morning without finding out the score first! I didn’t know I could watch a replay on ifollow. I was told you couldn’t do this.. my WiFi was sh** anyway so didn’t manage to see more than 10 minutes altogether . Probably for the best 😂

wow 24 pages of opinions! Well heres mine...
We didnt play as bad as whats been made out. a few months ago people were making some silly comments that we were going to get relegated, which shows there isnt much between anyone in this league.
Concerns about the defence, particularly Harries who I have never liked, Anderton is also suspect as he blows hot and cold too much. Connelly is ok and so is Hoole (had an off game) but we really missed Taylor.
another surprise for me was E. Anderson who has been pumped as the messiah this week but who I thought was very average. I thought Coutts was our best midfielder last night. Evans was missed but we have an absolute embarrassment of midfielders at the club so i'm not expecting a radical issue.
On a positive note, three games in a week and we have 71% possession tonight, it shows the style has definitely improved even if the results aren't quite there yet. Sure it puts pressure on the next few games but a win vs Mansfield on the weekend (they too have to lose sometime) and it will all feel much better.

Coutts was possibly the worst player on the pitch last night. I think the insistence on getting E. Anderson and Finlay on the pitch last night messed up the formation of the team. What was it 5 changes last night? Fair enough to rest Grant, he needs to be managed, and unlucky to lose Taylor just before ko but were all the changes needed.

[b Coutts to me looks a very simple get it and give it player , not someone we should look to pass the ball to to make things happen creatively. This was our worst mistake last night as we constantly gave him the ball at every opportunity.
