With our array of attacking talent there is no doubt we can out score them, but it needs to click like it has only done on a handful of occasions. Yeah. IMO our best chance of three points today is by edging a tight game rather than trying to outgun them. We’re a good side but not a high/free-scoring one. Try and go toe-to-toe with Vale in an end to end game and I fear we’d come out second best. Could really do with Collins and/or Nicholson finding their form again today! |

Different circumstances I know but was not impressed with Vale when we played them at home. Finley was sent off after 20 mins and we should have had at least a point.
Hope we don’t give them any respect and the blue army rollls on.
That said a point would do nicely today, I think most would have taken 4 points from the weekend. All the top teams have difficult games.

Vale's highest Home crowd this season is 8,384.
There is a suspicion this might be beaten today.
A.....N......T....... is the order of the day.
Anxiety....Nervousness....Tension....
For both sets of supporters.
Does a 1-1 draw seem a likely outcome?
Would that suffice for all concerned?

Tough tough game with 2 good in form teams and both with good followings…. Heart wants 2-1 gas win but head says 1-1 draw followed by us beating FGR Saturday….
1-1 with Finley scoring ….

Cannot see us beating a very good Vale side on a fantastic run. A draw would be good to keep in the play-offs. Obviously I would love us to win by hook or by crook as that is the only result that will keep our automatic hopes alive.
