Gutted to miss this one, a few air punches in Cadbury Garden Centre, then rescued an old lady locked in her car in the car park, while checking the mobile! What a result, looking forward to an away day at Dale, whether it's Auto's or Play-Offs this team is more than ready for promotion.

Well I have seen some great captains in my time following the Gas. Coutts is now right up there for me. Controls tempo, direction and best of all the ref! 😂

FGR just need a point (they are already up barring a huge goal diff swing i think). Wont mind them celebrating promotion on Saturday if its down to other results and we are celebrating another win!

They are not a nice team at all which is surprising due to who their manager is, trying to get our players sent off every opportunity and their commentary team are just as bad, best team won simple as that |

Excellent away performance today . In a way it was good to go behind so early. It meant we had no option but to push forward.

What a day
That was a top class away performance particularly taking into account going behind so early. Difficult to pick a mom there were so many contenders but Coutts was absolutely immense. Once we went behind he took the game by the scruff of the neck and ran it for the next 85 mins.
So pleased for Loft as well, took his goal excellently that will do wonders for his confidence.
Right in the mix for the autos now 3 wins and we might just do this.

That was a tremendous performance by everyone involved. Well done to JB and the team.
Haven’t read the thread but FWIW:
Belshaw had to be aware and he made several half saves but so well did the defence play that he really wasn’t stretched all game. He played as a sweeper and did it very well although he had a bit of luck with the PV sub!
Back 4 all played well. I thought Grant who’s probably the most gifted and most comfortable on the ball sometimes underhit his passes in a tight situation but he always keeps his composure and shows real confidence to those around him. Esp after a long time out.
Taylor had a great second half after a dodgy first 10 minutes and controlled the central defence. So much that despite the corners we never really looked threatened by them. In defence he will be as good as Elliott A will be. Connolly just get some on and does his job efficiently with no fanfares. I hope we get him for next season although Cardiff must have noted how well he’s done and may well want to keep him.
Hoole did well and looks better attacking although in the second half he put in some great blocks and tackles. Well done to him, the underrated player of the team perhaps.
Finley and Coutts were fantastic and controlled that match completely apart from the first 10 minutes. I haven’t seen as many as others have but that was an almost perfect performance by Coutts who managed the whole game and the PV team never looked like wrestling that control from him. Even when they had possession he directed us and the others. My MOM undoubtedly.
Elliot A always a threat and Collins was tireless and it must have been a thankless task for him sometimes as he tried to slow PV down. Harry A was again a threat all match and Evans needed that match I think after time out. After a bad touch when he came on Loft he took his goal well and with the runners we have from wide he will get more chances in the games remaining. Well done to him, he was under pressure when put through but it was a great No. 9 finish. Which will do him a world of good. We really should have score another couple with the possession our mid field had. A few better choices and it could have been more, Elliott A was in space on a number of occasions but a great overall performance.
Well done everyone.
Automatic still on, concentrate on the next match and play to win just like we did today.

Edit: also a very disciplined performance despite the 6 yellows. How PV got so few when the foul count was 16-7. Esp Finley who has learnt to stay with his man rather than tackle and Coutts who was in the refs ear all game. I bet the ref was the happiest man on the pitch when Coutts went off.
