I fear Sutton United. They have the best run-in of any of the top six teams. In the final game of the season, we could need to win 5 nil plus to take third place. They are plus 1 on Goal Difference over us. Barrow (21st) vs Sutton United Sutton United vs Crawley Town (12th) Sutton United vs Bradford City (18th) Harrogate Town (20th) vs Sutton United Donât get how they are doing it. Theyâre utter sh** Same with Northampton. two non-football sides as well. However I think nobody will relish having to play us right now |

Cracking away performance against the in form team in the Division.
Beating Northampton and now Port Vale away in the run in, shows the grit and determination we now have in the side.
So often we've just let teams do that to us and we just rolled over and got our bellies tickled.
On Paul Coutts he is the epitome of that grit, determination and will to win. He was absolutely superb again today.
He had a poor start to the season, just as the whole team did, but the last few months he has put in a number of masterclass Midfield performances.
He can be an absolute Banned word, a master of the 'dark arts', he's one of those where if you're the opposition you'll think he's a right c*nt, but when he's in your team he's a collosus.
And now you're gonna believe us....The Gas Are Going up

Lots of love for Coutts' performance today, which was a captain at his best. Needed to just calm some heads first 10 tho Want to give a shout out to Connolly. As well as being perfectly placed for his first goal and being a unflappable rock in defence, it is his simple quick distribution that caught my eye today. So calm and talented for such a young player. Couple of great marauding runs forward as well. Quality young defender. |

It looked offside, just hit him and went in, but hard to see with the angle. Def thought it was offside at the time , after watching the replay I was certain he was off. |

Yes I don't want Sutton either but I don't want anyone in the play offs as I worry we wouldn't score enough goals! The 2 legged games are always full of goals and I do worry about our lack of +goals this season and we are way behind the others hunting down the top 3 spots. If we were to win the remaining 3 games the 82 points would surely be enough for a top 3 spot normally but this season is a strange one!

I wouldn't worry playing Sutton. We've beaten them 3 times this season haven't we?
Only team I would fear a bit is Exeter and maybe Mansfield as they do have some quality

What a performance that was, everything you want from a team that wants a win badly, big credit to Joey Barton, he had a plan and the lads delivered for him. Coutts? Probably as near perfect midfielder performance you are likely to see. I honestly think Vale set out to bully us and the referee, but we did exactly that to them. so, here we areâŚ.. 3 to go.  in my opinion we are still getting stronger, players coming back and a striker who was needing a goal now has one and confidence. We are building to a crescendo at the right time (just hope itâs not too late). Over the last month people have said we arenât good against the top sides - well look above: we play Forest Green next, drew with Exeter, beat Port Vale, beat Northampton, beat Sutton, drew with Tranmere and Mansfield and beat Salford in the final third of the season. Unbelievable team at the moment who donât know when to give up đ |
