Rodders has very kindly sent me a signed, match worn shirt. He really is a top bloke. I’m hoping he’ll be in the squad again on Saturday. Apparently when our 4th goal went in he jumped up, and hiit his head on the dugout - amazingly he didn’t injure himself. 😁 Hopefully we get the results we all want and Rodders can come on for a goalscoring cameo for you. He has been an absolute star for this club for his off the field work, especially during covid - just ask the Community Trust dept. Best of luck! |

Nae need ta book flights, all done TT , mum says yous can stay with us as long as there’s nae hanky panky an yous does a few chores 👍🏼 oh p.s , ye may need ta babysit th wean a few times too , didnae know whether I mentioned it 😂  So it's not a romantic weekend. It's marriage. |

Ditch th wedding dress doll, don th leggings n turn up socks an get that giant perm a flowing. First nite I’ve booked us in ta th local Beefeater fur prawn cocktail, steak, chips n onion rings , followed by Black Forest Gat oh. Then aff ta a pal o mine whose got us White Lightning n Asti Spumante put aside an a punnet o cockles n Nobbys Nuts , an all that ta get us in th mood for th roller disco on Buchanan Street. Really sad to hear your plight Tilly, please look after yourself and make a full lasting recovery, you mean an awful lot to a lot of people on here and to myself. Try to make sure as you fight with your body you remember to look after your mind also.

I saw the Consultant earlier this week, and, unfortunately, it was not good news - the CT scan shows that the cancer has spread to my lymph nodes. We discussed an operation to try and remove all the cancer, and, although this would be high risk, due to my heart and kidney problems, I decided that this was preferable to non invasive treatment, which would not be as effective. The Tumour Team met to discuss my case again the following day, and apparently are divided in their opinions as to which would be the best option for me. The operation does carry a high risk of complications, and a smaller risk of dying in the operating theatre. I did get the impression that the Anaethesist was not that keen. They want me to have a PET scan, which will give them a more in depth picture, to see if the cancer is anywhere else in my body. They've also asked the top pathologist geezer to have another look at the biopsy, to see if he can give them a clearer idea as to which stage the cells are at - apparently the first report hedged between two different stages. I'm meeting with the Gynaecologist and Consultant Oncologist on Wednesday, and they will talk me through what the scan may show, and the options for dealing with it. This also gives me the chance to ask both of them questions as the same time. I was all geared up for the operation on Monday, but, on reflection, it's good that the hospital are exploring every avenue to find the best way to treat me. God Bless the NHS and all who sail in her. I'm still remaining positive, so no need for sympathy - cancer can do one as far as I'm concerned. It's quite a large tumour, so maybe I'll have a flat stomach again afterwards - every cloud and all that! Also convenient that it's reared it's head during the close season, won't have to miss any games - hopefully all sorted by July. UTG everybody - take care. xx |
