I cant stand Swindon but they will bring thousands to the mem (so more money for us) and it is a good away day. Mansfield seem to have some money behind them so could kick on in lg1 def do not want them up. Plenty of Lg1 Teams will bring thousands next Season and it's not really a good away day in Swindon.

I’d be surprised considering we’re barely capable of allocating away fans 1000 tickets with our capacity at the moment.

If we’re filling the rest of the mem, then the capacity issue just becomes more pertinent. Explain? Well, I don’t think we’ll get away with allocating visiting clubs less than 10% of the capacity of the ground in L1 as much as we’ve done a few times towards the end of this season. So if clubs are going to take greater amounts of fans to the mem this season, and we are filling the rest of the ground regularly. Then we won’t be able to allocate the visiting east terrace or an extra block of the south stand to home supporters, like we did against Scunthorpe. In some ways it’s a nice issue to have, but in others it’s frustrating as a home ST holder that you will struggle to bring guests along for the big games because we’ll only have 2000 POTD tickets available after 6000 ST sales and away fans.

Mansfield, Port Vale, Northampton and Swindle. Of those I can see PV struggling most if they went up so that and the DC factor makes me want them to go up.
Dont want any success for Garner whatsoever that plus the fact I hate Swindon makes me not want them to succeed. Northampton would be tasty next year but more funny if they didnt get promotion. So my second choice would be Mansfield despite the fact they are certainly above their station.

Understand. Putting it simply, we need to increase the Mem capacity. Somehow.

Well we've had plenty of seasons in league 1 at the mem against what we would call big sides too. Also lots of important and localish games. The most important factors for us are winning games and entertainment value. If this are missing, we will see crowds of 7k again before long.

A real reality check, some great away days, a promotion and clearance of dead wood. I'm not too fussed who wins tonight but would like Vale to go up.

Reduced capacity so more likely than other seasons , plus we’ll have our marquee signing Andy Carroll bringing in the punters.

I've been enjoying the style of football minus a big number 9.
