I remember a time when a large number of teds ran on and clearly tried to assault our team at trashton. We've played them a number of times since and their fans still get on the pitch in numbers. Last night's event was one of those where it was only a matter of time. |

Absolutely appalling attack, could have been even worse than a cut requiring stitches looking at that.
Clearly deliberate and good on the authorities in making a quick arrest.

The Billy Sharpe assault has been coming for a long time , pitch invasions happening more and more as we well know at Rovers, always gonna be a thug or two among them and here we are, Sharpe one of the legends of the game to, seems to have been around as long as even me! all of us have opinions on the issue but do we have the answer? stewarding ineffective, old style mass police presence prob cost prohibitive(then again if the elite can spend millions on transfers and wages !) for the like of us, i suppose the only thing you can do is identify and ban and keep banning till the penny drops?
As for the game ,fair play to S.U for giving it a real go V the form team, after 46 games of hard work is Pens really a fair solution? no time for 3 erd game at neutral or toss of coin to decide venue / Answers on a postcard please, What's a post card you ask?! tell them someone please!

I’d like Mansfield to be in the final but I can see Northampton pulling it back. I wouldn’t mind Swindon to come up with us so 4 south-west teams get promoted from league 2 but wouldn’t be mad if DC got promoted instead. The playoffs are certainly interesting this year and I’m glad we aren’t involved!

I cant stand Swindon but they will bring thousands to the mem (so more money for us) and it is a good away day. Mansfield seem to have some money behind them so could kick on in lg1 def do not want them up. |
