football ,like life , is full of 'sliding door moments', its taken all those tears for Stockport to recover from that Ricky goal! Goodness were we ever lucky to get back first go! As for the play offs, no one team in any league have any great advantage, Forest prob in best shape, all to play for, my prediction, Forest, Wycombe, Swindon! We’ve had our fair share of ‘sliding door’ moments esp in the final 10 minutes of last matches of the season in League 2. 07 at Hartlepool, ‘16 v D/R and last week v Scunthorpe. And a bad one, last match ‘14 v Mansfield and of course Mansell’s pen, last kick of the season in ‘15. I don’t think you’ll be far wrong in your predictions. Huddersfield were one of the poorest teams I’ve seen this season, albeit in October. Forest were very good in the first half a few weeks ago v AFCB and were unlucky with an offside that wasn’t before they were blown away in the second half and completely out-fought. Funnily enough League 1 I know least about but Wycombe seem to game-manage very well and it wouldn’t surprise me. And Swindon with McKirdie seem to have a threat and whilst he may be an annoying so and so he does carry a threat and appears to be good at winding up the opposition. UTG!

Huddersfield have been very impressive in the run in, they can't be discounted IMHO and their goalkeeper Lee Nichols remember him, has been outstanding and I believe has more clean sheets that any keeper in the Championship.

They were also the team that just lost out when Lambert scored that late winner at Hartlepool to put us in the play-offs. Lot of 'what ifs' in football... Home game against Stockport that season was called off due to unfit pitch. Which allowed extra days rest for the FL cup semi against the sheeds. Rovers won the rearranged fixture with what looked like an offside goal from Stuart Nicholson. Jim Gannon wasn’t one of our biggest fans was he! Didn’t they win something like 5-0 at Darlington on the last day and thought they had made the play offs until they saw our result at Hartlepool! I remember meeting a bunch of their fans at the services on the way back. To be fair to them they took it quite well and congratulated us!

Frantic start and can see plenty of goals in this if it carries on. Luton should be 1-0 up.

Really decent game between two very good sides. Played at a frantic pace by both teams. Luton the more dangerous side and probably should be ahead.

Looking at Luton just shows that anything is possible, no big stars no major signings, well managed and organised.
C mon Joey this could be us!

I think what’s impressive and gives other clubs (and yes - us) hope is they spent 5 years out of the league and only got promoted back to league 2 in 2014. They haven’t spent big, they’ve been well run and find themselves knocking on the door to the premier league! Its a nice story imo.

Commentators saying Huddersfield spent nothing on this side and Luton a total of one and a half million on theirs. That is 1% of what Fulham spent on their way to the Premier league.

Tell ya what, if I we could have one player in his twilight years I’d have Snodgrass all day long. Absolute 100%er and bags of quality/ability.

Yes, they have been impressive which goes to show that the one game I saw when they were poor can be misleading. And it was a great finish by Rhodes to go one up a few minutes ago. UTG!
