Truth is we are now ( since early 2022) the best team in that league anyway by miles.
I actually think we will be in a great position this time next year and I am very optimistic. ….. the Championship is getting closer.
Keep this team together with a few class additions / loans to fill any gaps……..and who knows !

Well Forest Green marginally outplayed us, although I agree week-in-week-out we were probably the best team for the last three months. Its always best not to be too cocky. Onwards and upwards.

Come on Mansfield good luck tonight you do know it was Mansfield you relegated us to the conference don't you? I'm not cheering for that lot mate! And I'm not bothered about the other 3 teams in the play offs either! Just enjoy the fact it's not us playing tonight!!!! We got relegated over the season not one game, and after the moans from Northampton after our 7 nil win did not want them coming up, don’t forget cloughie said he thought w3 would go up. anyway Northampton 3-1 up and they mucked it up |

Most of these were 1st team squad so there is a lot of work to be done. |

I think Pinnock would be a good addition to our side... Excellent all round battler with one heck of a shot on him as well.

Least worst team got through , think promoted side will be winner of Swindon, Vale. Cobblers done incredibly well to take it to the wire and finish 4th imho. As others have said Rovers streets ahead of any side in league since Xmas, the type of football we played should suit the higher league BUT can we produce it with what may be a much changed line up? Gonna be an interesting window ,again! who will stay ,who will return on loan, getting promoted on 'Goals ' scored do we still need that proven striker, not sure , goals coming from all over the pitch.
Shame Rangers couldn't quite do it last night, a victory would have raised the profile of Scots league no end. Interesting Glasgow connection, Eintracht being 'the other team' in possibly the greatest Euro Cup Final ever, all the years ago in Glasgow, what was it 7-3 to Real? Were you there Big Jock?!
