McKirdy one of those players who you hate when he's playing against you, but you would love him and his antics if he was your player.
But, no I wouldn't want him here, not sure he is a Barton type player.

Why the hell was there not a group of stewards near the Swindon players to give them some protection. After DC's rush of blood, the tension went up a notch and I felt what happened after the penalties was inevitable. Trying to goad McKirdy no doubt , former Port Vale player who goaded the Vale fans in the first leg . Great watching him sky his pen 😂 PS would anyone take him at the Gas for next season ? No. Irritates the crap out of me. |

It's happening again, Vale fans attacking Swindon players. this is why I don't like PV, they have horrible fans, aloud of them ran over to Swindon players and started hitting them live on sky cameras, |

Can't say I'm disappointed to see Swindon go out but absolutely disgusting scenes at the end. Maybe it's time to make entering the field of play an offence with a proper punishment. I can't for the life of me understand why people want to run on the pitch anyway. What disgusting scenes, did I miss something? |

Although I’m quite pleased with the result it’s clear Swindon players have been attacked.
That is not on.
Gashead 79 replied to a post I’d made earlier in the topic pointing out correctly that this had also happened at Huddersfield Luton as well as the Billy sharp incident and how does it get stopped.
I’d not particularly like them banned as a good natured one is good however going forward I don’t see much other option unless you massively increase protection of the ‘away’ team.
I think the fa and authorities will come down heavily on them going forward however we can’t go on with players/staff being hit it’s not on.

I remember beating Crewe in the playoffs semi many years ago. Ran on pitch, couldn't get near a Rovers player so got hold of Neil Lennon shook his hand and said "unlucky, you were best player tonight but better team won, chin up, it'll come good" or words to that effect. Anything worse than bad losers its idiotic winners. F'in enjoy the moment
