Not sure what’s going on in the east stand. So many empty seats again yesterday. Understandable in July and august but not sure why at least 100 still not turning up. Could be sold on to people that want to come!

Could be sold on to people that want to come! I've noticed that too, there were a lot empty in the block nearest to the away terrace.

I wish there was a scheme in place where non attending season ticket holders can make their seats available for purchase if they can't attend.

I turned up yesterday without ticket ,went to ticket office and asked if any available in East stand, answer in the affirmative, got great seat for a fiver thanks to club initiative but even at full price i would have been delighted, so i suppose if you are not that bothered where you watch from , get ticket at the ground on the day, ok for most games , will be odd games when it will be sell out, and pre book would be advisable.

Could be sold on to people that want to come! This is sickening, I'm unable to stand in one place for more than about 3 mins before experiencing extreme pain due to a spinal injury. I wasn't able to get a ST this season, never had a problem last season or previous seasons. It's RB or Ifollow, to think that so many people don't turn up is irksome to say the least.

Due to health issues I wanted to update my ST to a seated area and was advised it wasn't possible so can only assume some seats are held back for POTD. I could upgrade if available on a match by match basis to the south stand. To be fair I have good days and bad days so wouldn't expect the club to allow me a 'flexi ticket' depending how I felt on the day I should have prepared for this season in advance and got a seat rather than be stubborn and stand, my own fault

I wonder if the club knows certain season tickets holders aren't going to make the game they resell them on the day (for £5?).

I agree with you, I remember many years ago trying to get tickets for a Southampton game against Everton at St Mary’s only to be told it was a sell out, then watched the highlights on match of the day later & there was plenty of empty seats around the ground, it’s so annoying.

they talked about launching a scheme where season ticket holders could "give up" their ticket. Nothing further announced yet.

As a season ticket holder I am also a pensioner and the best time for me to go on holiday is September when it’s not so hot and the kids are back at school. My seat was empty Saturday and next home game. I would like to give it to my son but as I am a senior and he is not permitted to have it.

Before we moved to the east stand a few years ago, we had season tickets for the blackthorn end as it was known then, but occasionally would go to the ticket-office & pay the difference to upgrade to a seat, if available in either the east or west stand. Just wondering if your son could take your ticket to the ticket-office & pay the difference to get a new one issued.

On the occasions I have upgraded from terrace to seat I've just rang the club and paid the £5 difference. Probably easy to manage an upgrade but not change ownership

(see attachment) I have often seen that people on here have given their season ticket away for a game and even sold their entire season ticket. There is a risk.

Apparently there are lots of empty as they are kept for hospitality. Ridiculous decision of true. Get proper fans sat in the seats every game.

The seats in the boxed areas at the rear of the stand are used for hospitality. Why aren't hospitality guests proper fans? Most I see in the hospitality areas are well known Gasheads.
