Apparently there are lots of empty as they are kept for hospitality. Ridiculous decision of true. Get proper fans sat in the seats every game. The seats in the boxed areas at the rear of the stand are used for hospitality. Why aren't hospitality guests proper fans? Most I see in the hospitality areas are well known Gasheads. They certainly are. Can't imagine many randoms think they just fancy a meal at a Football Club one Saturday.

If they are not booked upgrade a few fans from the terraces How do you do that? Sometimes when you book Hospitality you're already a Season Ticket holder in the Stand and therefore don't need the allocated seats. So how do you contact people with a Terrace Ticket and ask if they want to upgrade?

Offer them up on the day at the turnstiles So you want someone at the turnstiles checking every Card for entry and then asking them, with a conctactless payment if they'd like to upgrade to a seat at the back of the East Stand?

No need for payment. I'd just ask people if they fancied a seat instead. Great view of the game up there

They do it at McDonald's. 'Do you want fries with that?' Just saying....

Just saying what I've heard from the shop. The empty seats scattered around are reserved for hospitality.

The 1 game, there were 3 blokes sat down for 1 half, never made it back for the second half the game. Like I said, why not just sell them to proper fans who i know are after a seated season tickets. The shop confirmed at least those 3 sears are reserved for hospitality. Strange as they are in middle of a section.

The club charges up to £99+VAT for hospitality including a seat in the East Stand, it looks like those fans are paying far more than "proper" fans would ever pay for those seats.

Re-opens the question “what is a ‘proper’ fan?”
When anyone mentions it it sounds so pompous to me.

If a person buys a seat ,turns up then chooses to stay in the bar...fine. How about if a season ticket holder who doesnt turn up or notify the club (so resale can occur) gets billed the difference between the match day price of the seat and the season ticket game price. Also ,if a person fails to turn up or notify the vlub for resale 5 times in a season they lose their priority to renew the seat the following season.

So I'm punished for not turning up 5 times without notifying the Club? Even though I've paid one of the highest prices for a Ticket in the Ground, up front, just because someone fancies upgrading and wants a seat? How about no.

Why are you assuming just because they are in hospitality they are Rovers fans? I could quite easily get 12 people together, pay that money, they are on the water and not interested in watching the game or supporting Rovers. I just think it's a shame that I go every home game, instead there being people who want support the club sat there, the seats are empty because they are reserved for hospitality.
