Unfortunately, sleepygas is right, events at Anfield showed why the authorities were nervous about games going ahead last Sat, they were obliged to cut the silence short because of disturbances, similar scenario at Wrexham, folk may want to gloss over it, but it cannot be denied. just what this remarkable lady did to invite such disrespect is beyond me and i suspect many others, but it's football and therefore all is forgiven. Same at Wrexham booing, then folk trying to tell them to shut up,descended into a shambles Wonder if this will be featured on the next Wrexham Disney+ documentary...?

Why on earth are the national press reporting that it was impeccably observed at Anfield? It's like they are afraid of criticising Liverpool, imagine if that had happened at Leeds or Millwall - they would have been all over it. Pathetic that they defined it as a moment's silence - couldn't be trusted for one whole minute. I can understand why Liverpool fans are anti-Government, but can't really see how this connects to the monarchy. The journey to Westminster Abbey this afternoon was a sight to behold. I can't imagine what it must be like to have to do so much in the public eye after losing a parent - respect to Charles particularly for this.

Wonder if this will be featured on the next Wrexham Disney+ documentary...? As I am relatively local the local news are reporting that "Rob & Ryan " are embarrassed I had a chat with two Wrexham supporters who hated “everything English” on the way to a Rovers away game a while ago. I did ask why they supported their team playing in the English system and why not support a team in the Welsh system, they said it was because their own leagues were sh1t, which seemed a strange reply. The problem with a minute’s silence is that if a few people shout it quickly descends into a shouting match which seems to be the case at Wrexham. IPG

It was impeccably observed at Portman Rd for the entire minute, apart from a wee bairn* who wanted attention in the far stand that could be heard from where we were because everything else was so silent

On a thread that is designed to be positive about the queen and in some way a memorial to her life it’s probably best not to ask people with a different view to comment.

Plenty of opportunity on general chat to air our views, absolutely no need to come onto this thread and repeat what we have already said. Each to their own.

When Charles pops his clogs do we think we’ll have to go through another 10 days of mourning ? 3 days is more than enough in my opinion. This is definitely ott.

I hope he has many healthy years ahead of him, because I can't face another round of all this fawning stuff for at least 10 years. I was sort of prepared for it all, or so I thought, and was initially sad at the news, but it's just relentless. I suppose it will have restored the faith of some rosy-cheeked Tory MPs that the BBC should always be pro-British and not a hotbed of left wing traitors.
