Here's a bit of truth, Russia's false referendums are very dangerous when the 98% For result is announced it will give the Russians the opportunity for full mobilisation ( 1st World War ) and a false pretence to use ALL available weapons as the Ukrainian s will be attacking " Russian terrority",it is a pivotal moment in this conflict. Ps. Posted before BBC News !!

Ps. Posted before BBC News !! Agreed. The tactic of not being able to "win" with an aggressive act into a "win" if he can show he is actually defending his country. Normally you wouldn't get away with that without brainwashing your population. Something we should note in this country.

We are getting close to the threat posed by the Cuban missile crisis, personally I am very concerned, what will the West do if he drops Chemical weapons or a battlefield nuclear weapons,it seems he is already using Thermolite, akin to napalm. If any of the above we will stand by and do nothing?

EDIT: just realised this should be on the other thread about Russia but was responding to a post on here.

EDIT: just realised this should be on the other thread about Russia but was responding to a post on here. There was a good analysis on Newsnight last night,if Russian forces collapse in the East there is a danger that he could use a tactical weapon perhaps in the Black sea or a sparsely populated part of Ukraine, Reason self evident to see what the response would be and if the West withdraws support from Ukraine,it's not about reading the internet it's about recognising the risk and being prepared, after all he used banned chemical weapons in Syria. Putin has to win this or at the very least " show" he has utilised every possible means to win it,that makes him dangerous.
