hi chaps nice to see this page on the way up.hope you dont mind me joining in as i see to be the only city fan on here
i dont think we will go down as a few sides below are very weak,we have a good side to be fair with some great young academy players, the problem is round holes square pegs and im afraid that has to be down to mr pearson who i dont see lasting much longer.
on the owners cant never understand are own fans slagging them off i think a fair few was not about in 1982.we gone from 8000 fans to over 20000 average in that time which the new ground and facility's have helped and with more to come with the smaller arena, hotel and housing and shops.
like all the leagues the champion ship is tough but looking at the sides in your league im sure thats tough to.as i have always said if we were to be in the same league i hope it would be the championship and not div 1.
if pearson is booted then i would go for the man you lost to on boxing day garth ainsworth need some rock and roll around the gate and a gaffa that bloody smiles have a great new year chaps off the pitch not so good on it ps have to ask how good is arron collins you always seem to find a bloody good centre forward

It seems it might surprise you to know BRFC do not own the Mem. It's owned by Dwyane Sport. And Wael owns both as separate companies That's not actually correct. Bristol Rovers 1883 Ltd owns The Mem which in turn is owned by Dwayne Sports. Bristol Rovers FC Ltd is at the bottom of both of those companies and you are correct it does not own the ground. The ground was separated from the football club by the previous owners.

All under the control of Dwyane Sport. Not sure but I believe The Quaters is Dwyane Sport but I am not aware if it is a stand alone company as well, presume it is?

Thought most grounds not owned directly by clubs. Something to do with that if the club got into difficulties ground could not be sold off by administrator, Something like that.

Pretty sure its only Pearson's reputation keeping him in the job at moment, no Gas eds can understand the critism of owners who have given you so much. Just think you have to be thankful for what you have and stop having delusions of grandeur, nowt wrong in being a competitive Championship side. I have noticed some talented youngsters over there who started season on fire but seem to have gone off the boil in recent months, i would question whether they have it in them to fight their way out of trouble, i have my doubts which i hope are well founded, as for us ,we have become a good league 1 side who can give anyone in the league a run for their money BUT we are not quite there yet imho, top 10 would do just fine this season, whatever happens just remember Jesus loves you ,though the rest of the world thinks your all ?@:}><*¬!!!!!,

Hopefully he succeeds and takes you down, your facilities are light years ahead of ours, although unlike many other teams you’ve kept your traditional roots. That Conway looks decent, you don’t need Collins! I

Be careful what you wish for springs to mind, for a club that has already gone bust and reformed once and been bankrolled by one of the richest men in the country in the meantime you’d think they be abit more level headed eh?

Whilst I appreciate lj post is not very provocative. Ainsworth not a bad shout for them, he knows how to get out of league 1 if they are relegated.
As long as the arrogant dribble keeps being posted on their forums thread that is dedicated to us, it is quite pleasing to hear the scores read out when they are on the wrong end each week.

As I understand it, the stadium comes under the Memorial Stadium Company, the actual football club is under another company, Bristol Rovers FC. Both companies are owned by Bristol Rovers 1883 Ltd which in turn is owned by Dwane Sports (96.26% of the Ordinary Shares). Wael was formally acknowledged at Companies House as being the 'Person with Significant Control' (that is personally holding 75% or more) in May 2022 but wef June 2020. From memory, The Quarters is owned by Dwane Colony, a totally separate company.

If you check the balance sheet of Bristol Rovers 1883 ltd you will clearly see the stadium listed there as an asset of that company. You are correct with your structure. There are also a trail of companies above Dwane Sports which is impossible to unravel but that is quite normal for an offshore company that doesn't want too much information in the public domain.
