I don't expect it would be fully fitted out until we know what's happening with the East Stand and whether it would wrap around into it and that would determine what goes where underneath. I was told that the plan for the east stand has now been decided and they’ll be building either side of the existing structure. Maybe - before the East Stand is demolished and the two new bits either side joined up.

...not saying you're lying, but that revised plan from that date clearly shows four large and one small toilet block underneath the stand. Pretty sure I read somewhere they were going to be prefabricated blocks but planning permission was granted for one thing and I'm pretty sure the rules about things like capacity-to-amenities ratios are pretty strict nowadays

If movement space is limited i would guess you have toilets inside and food/drinks outside.

What is the problem in that we do not seem to take having proper loo facilities ? It’s hardly something that would encourage families and female fans. I really do not understand the thinking or lack of it, in this area. I thought it had to be a bad joke in people saying it would be portaloo, again. Some very strange thinking with this.

It’s not really a portaloo mate, it’s just a prefabricated block 👍 Facilities there are good.

There are now two portable toilet cabins against the fence outside of the concourse area and two brand new food outlets against the back fences of the houses. These were not open. There were two outside separate contracted food outlets in this area today also.

If they hope to charge £36 to sit in the extended East Stand I wouldn't bother. After decades of failing to build a stand worthy of the name it seems bizarre to me we're charging £29 to sit in it.
It was sad to see it more or less empty yesterday after years of waiting for something to be built. I know the owners are fairly new but you would think it wouldn't be difficult to reward the fans for the years of putting up with squalid conditions
I would have hoped we'd have had an opening game once it's given the all clear by the authorities. A fiver a ticket with pasty thrown in and get the stand rammed. Get the atmosphere built and making it somewhere fans want to return to. Create some kind of buzz, not the dribble of fans we saw in there yesterday.
Once the fans have experienced the atmosphere when it's full then increase the price to reflect the demand.

I doubt the club could do much planning for a grand opening yesterday, given that permission to use it was only granted on Wednesday? Hopefully, the club will get the pricing structure right given time, although the way the team is now performing filling it could take some effort.

I stand about half way on the East side and I’ve been impressed with the atmosphere generated from the South Stand. Was rocking Wednesday and yesterday chants were starting from the South before the Thatchers did.
Obviously there’s only so many who can sit in there right now. I’d expected this would be mostly an away end but I can see this becoming a proper alternative to the terracing for those who aren’t up for standing but are pretty vocal.

In the interests of research we tried all parts of the new stand yesterday. We watched most of the game from the back row of the centre, which gave you a good view of all of the pitch, other than the wing back positions which were behind the pillars. The nearer the front you got, the less the pillars were an issue. The strange little triangle of seats in the corner between the S and SW stands should definitely only be sold as restricted view as there are three pillars in your direct line of view. A definite improvement on what was there before!

You do know we could only use 50% of it yesterday? 75% vs Exeter 100% Vs Oxford

There was only a few hundred in there yesterday. Probably well less than the 50% allowed

There was only a few hundred in there yesterday. Probably well less than the 50% allowed As per the Norwich game 2 blocks were available. Due to it being 50% it seems to be a pick your own seat in one of 3 blocks. At a guess around 250 in there yesterday.

Great view but £29 for dead rubber games are not going to fill it. Needs some decent offers ….. adults £20 and kids £5 each .
