Deffo new food cabins and portaloos down there although the portaloos will stay outside the concourse I believe. Reckon once we get the finer details sorted and the stand 100% open we will start to see the finishing touches like big screen and concourse fit out. On the plans that the council granted planning permission for ,the toilet blocks were under the stand in the concourse. They were but that has since changed. The two big portaloo blocks are already there and in place.

The two portacabins I mentioned appeared to have large hatches on the side and didn’t look like portaloos, having said that I’m not a portaloo expert.

Standing mid way on the West Terrace I was impressed by the noise coming from the new stand, dare I say it, that they even outdid Thatchers at times. Disappointing result but hey we are on the up I thought the same thing. The acoustics were pretty good with the whole ground in song. If that was full it would be rocking. Be great if we could put a proper kop end on the North. The roof sloping upwards and outwards towards the pitch must make a massive difference to the noise that can be heard. It's all smothered and contained by the low roof of the Thatchers end.

Having never been down that end of the ground it was interesting to see how the sound of the thatchers travelled down to that end. It's pretty poor actually I think your right the roof must contain it all in rather than projecting it out around the ground.

Out of interest, if open 75% vs Exeter but we don't sell out the full amount, how do the safety people work out whether it is safe or if we are capable of hosting that or 100%? They probably won't and it's all just a box ticking exercise? What's baffling is why no work seems to have been done on the concourse. What work are you expecting?

Blimey I didn't realise that's what they charge for the Thatchers terrace now, the last time I paid for a single ticket it was £18. I know we have to stem the losses and improve the the playing budget but that seems quite a jump. My season ticket works out at around £15 per game so I guess we can expect a significant increase for next season.

If anyone wants to try it out and are struggling financially, then I’m happy to sell 2 of my ST’s today for less than half that so someone gets to take in a game they couldn’t have otherwise attended, and see the new South Stand. Happy to let someone have 2 seats for £25 if you want to message me. 👍

The two big portaloo blocks are already there and in place. ...so we *checks notes* submitted a planning application with toilets in a set location, started building the stand without getting permission in advance, withdrew the planning application and (whilst building) submitted a second one with the toilets in the same location, got planning permission granted, completed the overall structure and have now started using the structure without the toilets installed/operational as planned (causing large queues at other nearby facilities) because we now plan to have them somewhere else...?

I don’t know about the planning side of things. All I can tell you is that there will be 2 new big portaloo blocks one one side of the stand with a disabled block and 3 disabled blocks the other side.

I don't expect it would be fully fitted out until we know what's happening with the East Stand and whether it would wrap around into it and that would determine what goes where underneath. I was told that the plan for the east stand has now been decided and they’ll be building either side of the existing structure.
