Standing mid way on the West Terrace I was impressed by the noise coming from the new stand, dare I say it, that they even outdid Thatchers at times. Disappointing result but hey we are on the up I thought the same thing. The acoustics were pretty good with the whole ground in song. If that was full it would be rocking. Be great if we could put a proper kop end on the North.

Could be 100% for Oxford!

Out of interest, if open 75% vs Exeter but we don't sell out the full amount, how do the safety people work out whether it is safe or if we are capable of hosting that or 100%?

They probably won't and it's all just a box ticking exercise? What's baffling is why no work seems to have been done on the concourse.

Good to read positive posts on the new stand, just wish the club would offer a family pricing package now there are more seats available to offer, will be interesting to see the uptake for that area Saturday. I would like to see this too. £10 for those under 13 and under isn't bad, £29 for adults is a bit steep imo but I'd probably pay it, but £22 for 14-17 year olds means we'll be staying at home. Why do we charge so much for this age group? We've stopped going (except FA Cup matches) since my eldest turned 14.

Very baffling as we were lead to believe that was what was taking the time for the stand to be completed? 🤷♂️

Could be 100% for Oxford! That's just under 11500 capacity now . Plenty of space to offer Derby Bolton Oxford Reading 2500 plus tickets.

If you buy a ticket in the Exeter bit of the South Stand it is £3 cheaper than it is in the Rovers bit of the South Stand. I think £26 is a reasonable price £29 is overpriced for tier 3 football.

I think it's an error. Oxford Blackpool fans pay £29 for a seat. Unless they got to match the pricing from the original date which was the same price as terracing.

Is there a bar and toilet for the new stand? Or are they using the West Stand facilities?

Is there a bar and toilet for the new stand? Or are they using the West Stand facilities? I was in there Wednesday instead of my usual thatchers end spot and they were sharing facilities with the west stand. The ques were quite frankly a joke even for the toilets. They were longer than the huge ones in the thatchers end. Really hoping they put more food outlets, toilets in

What is the minimum width the walkway needs to be for safety ? I guess if you had people queuing for food and hanging around in there to keep warm there would not be a lot to spare. Lots of away grounds seem very crowded under the stand pre game and at half time. I think the stand is a great addition and improves the ground considerably, you are correct re overcrowded concourses, i very occasionally get invited to visit the unmentionable ground to watch the other ball game and it is chaos on the concourse, folk going in all directions and having to go through or round queues at bars and food outlets . I also visit Kingsholm now and again whose stand is almost identical to our new one, they have 3 or 4 food/drink outlets outside one end, before you enter the concourse and it works ok albeit you will always have queues, they do have toilets at the rear of the stand though.

Are they going to let terrace S/T holders upgrade for the remaining games once it's fully open?

I’m thinking they may well be destined to go into the concourse.

Reckon once we get the finer details sorted and the stand 100% open we will start to see the finishing touches like big screen and concourse fit out.

If they only had the go ahead in the morning for a increase in the stand I can't imagine thrre would have been much availability of vendors at that short of notice

On the plans that the council granted planning permission for ,the toilet blocks were under the stand in the concourse.

I don't expect it would be fully fitted out until we know what's happening with the East Stand and whether it would wrap around into it and that would determine what goes where underneath.
