Looks like we'll be chasing our tail again with this stand. Looking like were up to 37.5% capacity tonight. Tickets could be a fiver on Saturday in attempt to give SAG something to consider. We need to get on top of this and quickly. We really don't want residents to have any opportunity to say the increased capacity/redevelopment isn't needed.

We can give Oxford more blocks I assume to fill the stand?

Only a reflection of the fan base (or lack of) more than anything else. Bemoan the state of the ground/lack of stands for years and years, we build something and then fail to even fill it.

Surely this stand is mostly to increase away support, not get fans moving from other parts of the ground? Surely oxford would bring two thousand?

Given the weather conditions it should be easy to offer those on the uncovered Pop terrace if they would like a free upgrade to the South Stand.

Perhaps they’ve been scared off by Gasify and believe it’s going to come crashing down when the rain is falling 😁!!

didn't exactly give much notice to the fans about this, nor did they explain the process for swapping for single or groups of season ticket holders. Having to go into the shop to do this before 5pm on a match day, isn't feasible for a lot of people.

Thought process seems to be what do we do for the next few hours

Many moons ago I was at an Away match getting drenched in the rain on an open terrace. During the match the Home club opened the doors to a covered stand and allowed us all to go in for no extra change. It was a kind jesture.
If need be Rovers could ask people on the uncovered Pop Terrace if they would like to go into the South Stand. It would show the club cares about fans in addition helping to increase capacity. Some of those fans might decided to pay more in the future for a seat in that stand.

Despite half a billion of investment

The last game ( Blackpool) showed very few tickets sold on the website before the game but there was loads more seats taken on the day. chill.😎

Sad that we cant fill it at a tenner a pop, however season ticket holders might be relieved by this,we ve had so many games recently that it is accumatively expensive, therefore the hike in season tickets might not be so much.

Is the entrance for the South still located in the corner of the fanzone, next to the West turnstiles?
Last time I was at that end of the ground we lost to Boston in the Worthington Cup qualifier!

The Teds have a much better ground, play in the championship... but guess what, they can't fill Trashton either.

Applaud the change in pricing but it needs to be this for the rest of the season. Its a cold stormy Tuesday night, people already have plans which likely include staying warm and dry.

The problem to me is this isn't really being promoted other than among those that would normally go. I don't live in Bristol so takes some prior planning to get to games. Mid week isn't ideal to encourage people to come along. In the past clubs have given away tickets to local school kids. Why not do that until the stand is up and running at full capacity.
