Bought a ticket up and will be vacating from the East Terrace tonight. Same here, even though we are both season-ticket holders, me & my son have just bought a couple, thought about waiting for a friendly next season to try it, but at a tenner a seat, why wait. Utg.

Bums on seats for the 75% and slipping the club a few extra nuggets, top idea👍🏻

Ted's are lapping this up! Screenshot of this post getting them excited! The south stand has been increased for 2 games when our season is pretty much dead in the water. The Teds have a much better ground, play in the championship... but guess what, they can't fill Trashton either. RedLionLadSomeone might want to educate this one... "The Teds have a much better ground, play in the championship... but guess what, they can't fill Trashton either." Brilliant!

They play in the championship, play in a ground that is better than ours that they don't fill. Maybe the lion can explain themselves after the next time they have visited our forum.

didn't exactly give much notice to the fans about this, nor did they explain the process for swapping for single or groups of season ticket holders. Having to go into the shop to do this before 5pm on a match day, isn't feasible for a lot of people. They didn't really want to offer it online to ST holders in other parts of the ground, probably a pain to potentially deal with an influx of requests with varying refund amounts. Trying to get those unsure of going tempted by offering it for £10. The one night that ST holders lose out. Ah well

It would only be an own goal if we still couldn't reach 75% capacity. Oh, how we would see the funny side. We need 75% capacity in order for the trial to work. So what do we do…..keep prices high, in January, just after a few big games that would’ve cost people a fair whack of money. What did they think would happen? Then scramble around and oh miraculously we can just charge £10 Now….the day before the game where most people will have already got other commitments. Brilliant

Brilliant What are you talking about, Rovers couldn't do anything without SAG's agreement, last week they confirmed we could use the stand up to 50% for the Norwich game, this week they confirmed we could use it up to 75%.

Ah well Exactly this, I can see what they were trying to do even though the timeline of the announcements (and the time/weather conditions for the match) meant it was always going to be a challenge. What they wanted to do was get extra people coming to the match, not mess around with swapping people who already had tickets. Might have worked if it wasn't a midweek game in bad weather...as ever with Rovers mistakes were made, but at least this time I can see what they were trying to achieve...

Very impressed with the new south stand myself, decent sized concourse underneath, in and out of the gents at half time no issues, a bit to eat and drink with minimal wait, superb view of the dreadful performance & some good noise started by those who congregated at the back. The Thatchers End yoof had some competition!
Well worth the tenner and getting out of the tornado that battered the East.

Yea if the number making noise in the South increases and it's a decent game it will be a new level at the Mem. Was a small group of us singing but sounded really loud especially at the start of the second half. Not into this 'the team need to give us something to cheer about' thing. Sometimes the best way to make the most of a bad game is to create an atmosphere. It's definitely decent and at a reasonable price I'd probably switch from the Thatchers. Better facilities underneath are desperately needed though - a decent toilet block within the concourse is something I expected.

Equally I was very impressed by the stand itself but the toilet facilities were still very Mem by my reckoning. Shipping containers and not many urinals either. Itll get busy in there when packed out.la tidier version of what was there before. My catering experience was very different. Massive queues before the game, only one hut and the food wasn’t that great. At half time the queues were so long I didn’t bother going back for a half time drink. Makes the queues on the east terrace seem tame. Definite room for improvement.

The South stand experience was the only saving grace from a shocking team performance coupled with awful weather conditions. Pleasantly surprised with the legroom of the new stand & I’am 6.0 ft tall, toilets, food & drink were all decent , the large concourse underneath is great to meet up, stretch the legs & consume any refreshment’s. Definitely think about buying a season ticket there if price is sensible, just hope it’s for league 1 football & too many more abject performance’s like last night & that might not be a full gone certainty.

Do SAG just report on the stand and the basics of getting people in and out. If it includes facilities then I'd assume it's a failure going on a fair amount of peoples views from last night.

SAG will also have issues if people can't use the toilets in a timely manner or if there are large queues/congestion for food/drink and or the toilets. In general there's a set ratio of amenities to capacity that has to be met, as well as no issues with people entering, moving between those areas and then leaving at the end...

Fun new game - no one can win yet as some of the options at the bottom are only available when the stand opens but I bring you South Stand (moaning) Bingo! ...nearly four months later...who's scored what....?
