Great day and evening so far in Wrocław, steady Eddy game that was worthy of the draw. Few of the usual stars well off the pace, great to see Walker get his first England goal in 77 caps, where he was quality against the worthless Mudryk all day long.
Onto Glasgow we go.

Lacklustre performance from England, but they done enough to get a point. Can’t fault the effort just too many players not on their game. It seemed a very intimidating atmosphere in the stadium. Anyway credit to Ukraine to even be competing in this completion given the circumstances.

Anyway credit to Ukraine to even be competing in this completion given the circumstances. Was far from intimidating, just extremely vocal support from the locals on the rare occasions they got on the ball, although when they scored it was deafening. Loudest I’ve ever heard. Very little stewarding, couple of cops outside, friendly mix between the supporters as usual & they were even serving beers to be consumed whilst watching the match. Superb |

Need to be more expansive v Japan but yesterday was horses for courses. |

Anyone who tipped Stevenage and Exeter to be topping the table early doors would have been a bit richer or laughed at pre season....both have done well and set a moderate pace.
It's all early doors and momentum timing, but I hope we can end up above those two.

Bellingham and Foden drip class,have to start every game, Southgate must see that.🙄🙄 I believe they are both generational talents, along with Stones, Rice and spearheaded for a few more years by Harry we genuinely have a chance to win something if we take it to the opposition - no matter who the opponent are or what stage in competitions. Just imagine how good Harry would be if he had genuine pace ! Bellingham is going to be truly world class and by that I mean one of the top players in the world not like Rooney who was hyped to be world class but never was. |
