Hey Jude! Reminiscent of Zidane 20 years ago. Wow!

I genuinely didn't realise how good he is until tonight. The best player we've produced since gazza imo. Let's hope his career keeps an upward trajectory

We’ve got one world class striker in Kane but not much in the way of back up , could field three sides with the amount of attacking midfielders we have but we’ve got a lack of depth in defensive midfield. Our full backs are decent enough , Walker is world class shaw when fit is too but again not much cover. In central defence other than stones none of them look world class although dunk was quality tonight albeit v Scotland so there’s hope there. We’ve got a leadership void in the squad . Harry Kane captain ? Wasn’t even first choice captain at spurs. Decent squad but lacks balance and I think Southgate has had us punching above our weight up until now. The thing is our squad is young and hopefully the likes of Bellingham or rice are our future leaders we’ll see. Comparing this squad to our other reasonably successful squads of for example 90 or 96 almost every player in those teams were either captain or vice captain of their clubs. You’ve got to have leaders in a major tournament.

I wasn't at all surprised by tonight's result. We have done really well against 3rd world countries in the last 10 years....

Bellingham and Foden drip class, have to start every game, Southgate must see that.🙄🙄 I believe they are both generational talents, along with Stones, Rice and spearheaded for a few more years by Harry we genuinely have a chance to win something if we take it to the opposition - no matter who the opponent are or what stage in competitions. Totally agree,my worry is Southgate is too cautious, waits to see what happens,we're good enough to dominate the opposition, set our stall out from the start

Unreal day/night that one. Atmosphere cranked up to the max, pure hatred on show, before silencing them with 2 in 2mins.
They’ve done well of late, but the level was there for all to see. A real humbling on their own patch, was bloody brilliant.
The away Double header is over, back to club duties & giving my insides a rest from terrible lager & very bad food.

Bellingham is one hell of a player. when you look at the current generation coming through it's unreal. Bellingham, Foden, Grealish, Saka. Real quality. Kane is true class too. He holds the ball up so well, defenders rarely get the ball of him. His finish was class.

It's all good until we play anyone half decent.. To be fair, Scotland are pretty decent at the moment. They are on a long run of good form and have some decent players now. Probably the best Scottish team since the 80s. As for England, aside from the Hungary thrashing, they have been pretty much matching any top team. And that's with Gareth's insistence on playing Maguire and Henderson.

It’s always the same, no matter who beat it’s always “oh it’s only…” or some straw clutching reason for the win to be insignificant. Haters can keep on hating.

Always gonna happen unless they finally bring home a trophy. They have the players, always have, now more than ever.

With the exception of Germany(awful for years) he has bottled every game that mattered but because he beats all the teams we should beat he's doing great.

Can't believe Maguire has more minutes and goals for England this season that he has for Man Utd

I’ve had a lot of sympathy for Maguire and his poor treatment in the past year or so but he’s done himself no favours by staying at Man U. He was, and still could be, a very good player for club and country if he’d signed for West Ham but instead put money ahead of career. Southgate keeps compounding things by picking him and setting him up for abuse.

Then there is Jordan Henderson playing in a camel league, albeit a rich one. When it comes to the crunch games against quality sides are these players going to be ready to compete to the best of their ability?

I’m going against the grain here.
I think Harry Maguire is an excellent player for England, composed, great passer, reads the game well, organises those around him, and I can’t think of many better at heading the ball. All about opinions I suppose 👍🏾
