I wonder what the reaction would be if one of the Lionesses was getting the stick Maguire is currently getting in the media and at every ground he visits?

I don’t follow premiership but I’m well away that Maguire has underperformed and is a laughing stock.
My observation from what I’ve seen watching England is that Southgate has favourites. Doesn’t seem to like Grealish or Foden when they seem to be our best 2 players. Loves playing defensive midfielders. Not sure why picking Henderson when he both isn’t good enough and chose to be employed by people who persecute women and homosexuals - to me, that should disqualify you from representing England.

I’ve had a lot of sympathy for Maguire and his poor treatment in the past year or so but he’s done himself no favours by staying at Man U. He was, and still could be, a very good player for club and country if he’d signed for West Ham but instead put money ahead of career. Southgate keeps compounding things by picking him and setting him up for abuse. Southgate seems intent on playing players that hardly feature for their club, Phillips being another one. Then there is Jordan Henderson playing in a camel league, albeit a rich one. When it comes to the crunch games against quality sides are these players going to be ready to compete to the best of their ability? Yes I get that and looking at club form I’d agree with you. But I think Southgate has gone for a ‘club England’ model and the loyalty he shows may well be repaid. I get all the concerns about Maguire esp in one on one situations but feel that perhaps Southgate sees the sum of the parts are greater than the individuals. He’s almost creating a kind of bunker mentality in the squad that all the players sign into. I hope I’m not wrong when we play the better teams in Europe later on! UTG!

Cardiff Vs Swans
Firstly What half wit decides this is the game for a Saturday night kick off & second, who decides this is the game for a minutes silence of any kind?
Talk about failing to read a room.

To say the South Wales derby has failed to ignite is being kind.
What an atrocious 0 shots on goal bag of sheep s**t that half was.
Whose scared of the champ with these two in it?🙃
