An honest answer, no I don't think they ever will. Sorry, I’ll correct myself. Some fans will Very few though. When this news broke last night more were concerned with how Yeovil were getting on. I think most of us are confident that Wael is able to budget for the losses and be able to cover them so why worry.

From what i can see and read there are plenty of clubs above and below us in a far worse financial state than we are and considering the events of the last few years we have a lot to be thankful for, not least of which is Wael, as for Yeovil i think most west country football fans were pleased when they finally made it to the league, deservedly so, but that good will evaporated when they became serious rivals and left us behind for a couple seasons! , they got a bit carried away with success as did their fans, it was very hard to see how they could sustain that level for long and so it proved, FG is IMHO a remarkable story and i think they have reached their maximum potential ,their fans in the main seem happy with that and have not gone overboard with their expectations.

Wael is still here and covering them so unless he walks away, how did Yeovil get on?

To be fair to Fry, he was much misunderstood and had the best interests of Yeovil mostly at heart. Since he sold out, they have free fallen down the leagues and are much worse off than they were 4 years ago. They are an utter shambles now.

No shocks. That's football, so we are told. We earn £6 mill and spend £9 mill and live in hope against hope of a cup run, or a free signing who magically turns into another Elliott Anderson! Thank God for Wael as we don't have anyone to drive another Share scheme, or move to Twerton type scenario. It’ll be interesting to see how we compare to other league 2 clubs last season. We were told that JB was to be given a L1 budget to get us out of L2 at the first attempt or rather his playing budget would not be adjusted for relegation. I expect it to be the a top 3 budget beaten only by Bradford and possibly Salford given their ownership.

I don't doubt his interests were for Yeovil but in football you need to make friends along the way.

Like the masses I came to really detest those pesky Glovers when they came into the league, they were on the up, we were on the slide and was a good few seasons before we even took a point off of them. The Agogo 2-2 with 9 men might’ve actually been the first one! Don’t mind losing to a side graciously taking 3 points, but their supporters did not miss a chance to really stick the knife in each and every time they hammered us. I believe it actually peaked when the dude with the sign crowed at the fact they’d been relegated from the Champ, which was perfectly fine because the Gas were still (at that point) in the conference. Penny for the chaps thoughts right now😄

Born and bread in Bath - I disliked Yeovil from a very young age! Can't say I've ever tried Bread in Bath. Is it nice? Ha ha - I'd recommend a Bath Bun instead.

Wael doesn’t have a bottomless pit of cash. There will be a time where he can’t keep covering our losses - then what? If not for WAQ I’m not sure we would have had many suitors when NH and co wanted out

If not for WAQ I’m not sure we would have had many suitors when NH and co wanted out All we can do is cross that bridge when it happens, we've no idea how long he's prepared to keep spending but if really intends building a new stand then he clearly doesn't intend selling up anytime soon.

Don’t be daft Topper. Perhaps one or two people not everyone. Probably more on here are critical. As many gasheads on there as there are on here. You love to stir it up and cause division.🤔 UTG!

Blimey, a lot of energy being used on here on hatred of Yeovil and the other forum. I think comparing us with Yeovil and taking pride in out performing them at the moment is a bit of a low bar. This obsession with Yeovil is pointless. Yeovil is a small town in Somerset who, for 10 years over achieved and pi**** us off because they often beat us. They have now reverted to a more natural level for them and they're unlikely to equal us in the near future so comparing us with them is a pointless exercise unless you’re going to start comparing us with Gateshead, Aldershot as well. I hope they survive in the NL this season.
UTG!

Come on holmes, you’re better than that! It’s a bit like saying any club who had a manager with a criminal record and a questionable record with regard to aggression will only have fans with similar attitudes. Glad we’re not in danger of that! 😉 UTG!
