It dosent happen anymore as the people inside the club that were holding the tickets are no longer there, they got removed and a few were not happy I remember when one lost there job there was uproar on here. I would imagine some who were getting upset may have been part of the group but I don't know there usernames on here. I believe all that has stopped now we have a ticketing system in place thank god which means it's fair for everyone to have a chance of a ticket to away games/cup matches. and a few stopped going because they had to pay to get in to the home games it was no longer the club they used to know.resented providing income for the club they supposedly supported Who were they, name them?

I don't see many of them now but assumed it was because I don't travel too often and now I drink in the clubhouse and not the pubs on Gloucester Road.

I've no idea, I'd be surprised as Rotherham had their eyes only on Matt Taylor and approached Exeter pretty much as soon as Warne left. Warne left 28 Sept and Taylor appointed 4 October so that would suggest to me they didn't invite applicants. Not true, Rotherham had been turned down by at least one other applicant, Mark Bonner of Cambridge was one, before they offered the job to Matt Taylor on the 30th of September. Warne was announced in the press as Derby's manager on the 22nd of September. I don’t know then mate. I don’t even remember JB name being mentioned for the Rotherham job in betting odds.

I am bound to disagree with you there as I despise having Barton anywhere near our club and I recall you once having the same opinion but we all have opinions which we are entitled to change. Tisdale had already called out Tommy W and was attempting to replace him, Barton continued the execution. I said that Tisdale was coming to the wrong club for him and luckily for him he has made a vast amount of money outside of the game so he was able to take the risk. I hope he backs away from football and enjoys the spoils that he has gained. We need to start blooding some of our own youngsters. I think our academy is poor but that can improved once they are entwined with the first team at the Quarters. I'm not in Bristol so not sure how the development is coming along. If it has stalled then I hope Wael diverts some of the funding currently going down a hole into getting that development completed so we can reap the rewards that comes with having a strong academy in the lower leagues. I don't like Barton as a person, I don't like his morals or etiquette for trouble and I wouldn't have personally appointed him. That said, he's got our house in order on the footballing front and from that side of things, was probably the right man for the job as there wasnt much better available at the time. We missed the boat on Ian Evatt and Micheal Duff who were my first picks, but we were only in the market for free agents. I've never clapped Barton or celebrated him, but I wouldn't be so rude as to not thank him for his efforts. He clearly cares about the job he does here. Exactly how I feel. I can’t bring myself to sing his name but he has clearly done a good job, even if it never feels far away from the wheels falling off. Certainly hasn’t been boring!

After promotion, a small chance of the play offs pre-Christmas it’s been a decent season football wise. Lots of highs and several lows but it’s sometimes felt only a heartbeat away things going wrong. I’m inclined to think, after a couple of seasons with JB, that it will always be like that, JB seems to attract drama. UTG!
