Great song, reminds me a bit of my late brother's band Full Circle who were based in Bristol. Definitely will be following this band.

Just a heads up, my partner did update me regarding the release date for The Town (Let Go) single - apologies, I thought she said the 10th May, I am now told that it is Friday 19th May. I will get her to forward the link when available, the Uni events team are following the detail etc 👍

Just an update and apologies, I posted The Town Spotify single release link earlier today but word from their record label via Manchester Uni (My better half) the release date has been rescheduled. Apparently the YouTube video has took off big time and the band have extended their tour in Europe, where by all reports they are going down a storm. I will post the link as soon as our chums up north send me the link UTG

I have tried Tidal but i really could not notice a difference, it’s advertised as High resolution streaming and so, should produce better quality but not that many actually produce their streaming music in high enough bit rate. Has there been a difference of late as the last time i used them was over a year ago ? |

I don't think many play their music back through a decent set of speakers any more. The sources are mainly digital and identical so things like amps and decks are sort of irrelevant. I remember having debates when younger about whether the source like the cartridge or the final output from speakers were more important. I always felt a great set of speakers could improve a cheap source, but a great input would be ruined by cheap speakers. The kids today would be blown away by a proper 1980s/90s hifi setup, imo. The tinny little things they listen on make me cringe. All that effort in the studio to create fabulous 21st century sound, and they play it back through 3 inch high Bluetooth gizmos at best and their phones more often than not.
