If I was the Geordie Maradona, i'd be requesting a transfer straight away.
He was their stand out player in Pre Season, yet is being pushed further behind the likes of Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes.

And yet he is now picked in the Liverpool match day squad and came on and played well. And our genius of a manager who, reading this place has signed new players who are going to help us “p*** this league” can’t even beat Wycombe at home. You may have ‘burst out laughing,’ I didn’t. For clarity, I hope we can do better and ‘p*** the league’ but JB needs to do much better than he’s done so far. And I hope the loan signings we’ve made will get better support than some seem able to give Quansah. Well done to him, I hope he has fonder memories of us than some seem to have of him. 😉 UTG! He was utterly f*cking w**k🤣 It’s funny you say that cause tho I didn’t think much of him I also saw some signs of ability, if you look him up on YouTube there’s a highlight video of his time with us full of inch perfect long cross field balls to Coburn, well timed tackles, well won clearing headers out of our box and good composure playing out from the back. If you were to judge him from that video alone you’d think he was a class well above our level lol it’s easy to pick and choose moments and make a player look as good or bad as you want them to with highlights really 🤷🏻♂️ but it at least made me realise he did do good things and wasn’t all bad |

Strange then that the English national set up rates him and picks him and he is playing in the Premier League. Strange that I guess you felt that his loan spell was a complete success for us then? What I think doesn't matter for him, what does matter are the opinions of the England coaching set up and his Manager in the Premier League. The young man is working his way through a professional career and certainly does not deserve the stupid remarks made about him on this thread. Those remarks say a lot more about the author than the young man in question. It's embarrassing. |

Anthony Gordon was their best player today and was subbed off before the 2 Liverpool goals. Harvey Barnes is good too. They just have a strong squad. |

Who'd have thought Quansah would have got more game time today than EA, who now seems to have Harvey Barnes stopping him from even making appearances from the bench. Far play to Quansah as he's been part of a famous away win Where’s this lad Gordon appeared from as well?? He seems to be ahead of Anderson now as well, to be fair he looked very good but if Anderson is just gonna be stuck getting 5 10 minutes here and there again then he needs a championship or low level premiership loan. Newcastle seem to have almost too many options for that part of the field and real talent is being wasted whoever gets the game time, be it Anderson or not imo What do you mean wheres he come from. He's potentially far better than both of them, was their best player in pre season, yet they've just spent £90M+ on 2 players in his position, pushing him further down the pecking order. |

To answer your question I don’t care much about football as a whole tbh, certainly not the premier league. Just anything Rovers related. If you don't follow prem footy, that's fine. If you follow rovers related prem players, then it doesn't take much to get an understanding of where our former players are in the pecking order of each team. I guess ggmi's previous form warrants your response, but in isolation it seemed reasonable. A few comments on EA asking for a transfer. I shouldn't think a young man that will get game time for a top 4 contender would be wise moving into the championship. NUFC are in Champs league and will likely qualify again. Are people thinking straight on here? He should be fighting for minutes in the prem and pushing for international call ups. |

You see the difference in the attitude of how you speak to me compared to how he did? That was far more at the forefront of my response than what he was actually referring to, but I have pm’d him and said I’m not interested in any petty arguments I actually don’t dislike the kid he’s quite funny at times, I’m sorry I don’t keep up that avidly with Newcastle, I probably should a bit more as I do care about Anderson’s career. But I appreciate your respectful response and think it best just left there now |

Have to disagree, '79, I read GGMI's response a little sarcastic and as someone who doesn't really follow Prem football like I used to, wouldn't know the ins and outs of other teams. In fact, I know of a number of lifelong Rovers fans who wouldn't even know our own players that well. |

Congratulations to the lad on his debut. Hope he learns and improves to become a great player.
The lad has talent.
Fortunately for him he has made lots of positional, failure to tackle or direct headers to safe zones errors whilst on loan so would have learned from that.
He did also show good ability on the ball and certainly put lots of effort and energy into his performances.
It wasnt quite what we needed but these things are gambles. Some work well others not so well.
Certainly not the worst centreback we have had play for Rovers but some distance from the best ones.
