What an incredible come back. Wed looked dead & buried after the first leg. Not bad , but not as good as needing a 7-0 win and getting it ! 😀

I wonder if JB put a bet on this outcome?
Of course it now means Peterborough will be our first game of the season.

Deserved over the season but wow! thought first leg result bit of a freak but even so Posh fans must be shell shocked! think they over achieved getting into play off, should be good final .

It will only take the one good year and SL will probably be reversing much that he has said. There is a massive gap between tiers 2 and 3 and monies paid, horrendous Luton and Coventry City seem to have confirmed there's not a great difference between the two tiers as I can't imagine either of those two have big playing budgets, some of the Coventry players playing against 'boro even played in L1. As i wrote, earlier, getting there and staying there are two different things. You only have to look at transfer fees paid to back that up. The difference between what used to be 2nd and 3rd division is really on a different level. I had to check out the figures when i read what the 82 were losing, each week and they have one play off final to show for that. In Luton and Coventry, you have two clubs who used to be long time members of the now prem, i imagine they will have a good idea of what is needed but you never know. It really has changed and is so much more expensive

Sheff Weds are 66-1 to win 5-0 in the Second leg - probably crazy but I put a small wager on that and also 5-1 Watch them get dicked 0-2 now. Well I lost my bet as it had to happen in 90 minutes - but covered it with Peterborough to score first in extra time at a crazy 6-1 . Incredible game - really enjoyed it and absolute shame on those Wednesday fans that tore up their tickets after the 1st leg.

Lots of Peterborough supporters trying to cancel coaches and get train refunds this morning.

Lots of Peterborough supporters trying to cancel coaches and get train refunds this morning. I bet they are and i do have some empathy but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Hard to believe anyone could outdo our play off reverse at bloody Northampton

Absolutely hilarious what Wednesday did last night. Peterborough as a club and their supporters in general, always seem like they believe they're better than the rest of us.
Well,f**k you. 😁 Good luck to The Owls in the final.

I’d prefer Bolton to go up. But for rovers sake I hopes it Wednesday or Barnsley!

It may not have mattered but Flint should have got sent off. Thats what annoys me about football though, those tactical fouls preventing clear goalscoring opportunities

It really has changed and is so much more expensive Luton have only spent about £3M in total on transfers in the 3 seasons they've been in The Championship. Their squad is full of free transfers, players signed from the lower leagues and they've still got players that they signed when they were still in The National League like Pelly Mpanzu who is still one of their star players. They've proved you don't have to spend fortunes to be one of the best teams in The Championship, let alone to just get there and stay there. In a ground and attendances pretty much the same size as ours. Millwall have only spent on average about £1M per season on transfers since they've been in The Championship too, again mostly signing free transfers, they've finished in the top 10 of The Championship 4 out of the last 6 seasons and missed out on the Play Offs on the Final Day this season. Their crowds when they were last in League 1 were pretty much the same as ours are now too. You really don't have to spend fortunes to get, stay or even be a good Championship team.

It's obviously a difficult balancing act choosing between keeping and improving a successful team, but if course it can be done by some clever managers like the above, Eddie Howe and Sean Dyche. DC did it too in keeping the core of the Conference side into L1.
