Didn't think of that....He would have been on a championship wage and could be offered reduced terms....could make us financially attractive too....could be promising  We’re all assuming they’re going to offer him a new contract. Will they want to strengthen and be happy to let him go to free up space and wages? I think it will all depend on them offering him a new contract. If they do I think he will stay as he seems to have settled in well since his return from us. If not, I can see us being his second choice, but then do we know how badly JB wants him back? Watching the game yesterday his body language was very positive, he seems to have a good relationship with Duff and as you say seems settled. He was attentive to Duff's instructions when coming on and before ET Duff put an encouraging arm around him. Could also be a sign that he is maturing as a person! Lots of ifs, buts and maybes but always good to hear other's points of views! |

With Jack Baldwin their star centre half ! Somehow fitting that they stayed up but be missed a penalty! He’s also been their stand in captain for a lot of the season and is a big player for them. One calamity after another for us in league 1. Pleased he’s doing well but does seem to show the gap between Scottish and English football. |

Congratulations to Jordan Tillson with Ross County winning their playoff yesterday. Turned over to watch a bit of sport yesterday and Partick Thistle were winning 1-0 and 3-0 up overall with just 20 mins left. Thought to myself is this worth watching as it’s all but over as a contest…… 3 goals and a great penalty shootout later and it most definitely was ! |
