Is this a joke? Pretty sure Ellis, assuming you mean Harrison, had a bust up with DC and went shopping when we played at Wycombe. DC did well to bring him back into line Locks a true professional wherever he's played and a good advert for somebody with limited skills still getting to the top with endeavour. NO ,Why? Then again Ellis always divided opinions, some folk on here remembering his efforts, are best defender at one time, lauding him for goal of the season, others like you looking for his faults, feel free to do so , i look for the best in people, though i admit in some cases you have to look really hard. Just responding to your comments that EH always gave 100% when for a spell he clearly didn't, once DC brought him into line he then gave 100% and became an asset to the club.

And Leicester. I’ve a real hatred for them. Only team other than the Sh*t I really despise. Why ? m The only place I’ve ever been involved in football violence (which I’ve always hated). Came out of Filbert St, having lost the game and got attacked by a large group. We ran but I got caught and ended up with me against 6 of them (there’s no hero story here). They thought it would be fun to use my face and body as a punchbag. I nearly missed my coach home and was in agony for days. I got into trouble at work for not being able to do my job and moved to a department I hated to keep me out of customer view. And a girl I was hoping to ask out on a date after making a bit of progress (rare for me back then) refused to talk to me as she didn’t want to go out with a football thug (despite my mates trying to explain). I’ve been in near misses (mostly at trashton) but never involved directly anywhere else. And you expect trouble at the sh*t so kind of go prepared and find ways to avoid it but Leicester caught me totally off guard.

I totally understand your hatred for them now . Booooo to Leicester!!

Would that have been the first away game at filbert st in the old div 1?those terraced streets were a battleground pre and after the game

Would that have been the first away game at filbert st in the old div 1?those terraced streets were a battleground pre and after the game August 1990. Issues in the ground as well. We were near the corner flag and lots of loose masonry was being launched at us from the Leicester mob in the tier above. Lots of people trying to get help off a policeman marshalling an emergency gate onto the pitch. His answer - I can't leave my post. Didn't radio anyone for assistance. 1st away game of the season, no history between the 2 teams. Absolute scum

It was lively back in those days and you were always at risk if close to it. It was bloody scary at some places.

Have to say with recent goings on with a certain Brentford striker, the sheer amount of Sky Bet advertising going on during this game is extraordinary. Literally everywhere.
