FGR centre halves Baily Cargill & Udoka Godwin-Malife both out of contract. Know they were horrendous as a team but those two individuals would improve our CB options.

Defenders Steven Caulker, Joe Bennett and Ryan Nyambe and midfielders Jordan Cousins and Gwion Edwards also exit.

Joel Coleman, Richard Keogh, Matt Penney and Kane Vincent-Young will all depart Portman Road when their respective contracts expire this summer.
Penney / Vincent-Young decent full back options at this level!

Probably a hell of a long shot but wonder if Joey could persuade Scott Arfield following his release from Rangers.
They are good friends and he tried it with Andy Carroll so why not Arfield??

Charlie Lindsay and Kevin Ciubotaru both reportedly being released from Rangers this summer. Both promising players. |

Pompey have halted interest in former Cambridge forward Sam Smith with suggestions he is set to sign elsewhere. Would be a hell of coup for us. Highly doubt it’ll be here, think I have seen PNE mentioned online.

Rico Richards released by West Brom and showed some potential in the youths and development setup. The 19-year-old can play in numerous attacking roles and scored 4 goals creating 5 assists in 18 Premier League 2 appearances last season and previously represented England at U15, U16 and U17 level. Some undoubted ability there to develop and worth considering for us.

20-year-old David Omilabu has been released by Crystal Palace and shown plenty of potential previously. Playing anywhere across the front three, he was involved in 64 goals (41 goals, 23 assists) during the 18/19 season across all competitions for their U16 team and was then named U18 Player of the Season after scoring 21 goals from 19 appearances during 20/21.
