James Wilson just left Plymouth. Centre half played the majority of games last season and a Newport lad. Could be a option for the experience we need. Will skate over the 82 bit

Really like seeing transfers like this. Maybe financial or not I don't know, but reminds me of when Lines rejoined us in the conference. A few years ago now but they did have a couple of 'big names' in their team on minimal wages. Alan Smith just wanted to play and Roy Carroll was on some deal with the Northern Ireland FA

Jonny Williams was class this season, scoring 10 goals and being amongst the top chance creators in L2. He has proved his fitness over the past couple of seasons playing 39 times and 45 times. Still only 29, he's a versatile player with good creative qualities, higher level and international experience and supposedly a good character. I've always liked him as a player, so I'd take him if his wage demands were reasonable and within budget. Looks like he may be off to the bright lights of Bradford. Maybe they will finally do it this season. Taking their time mind.. bright lights of gillingham. Seems to know the level he is comfortable with.

Their new owners have really splashed the cash since January - must be promotion candidates.
Despite having Ehmer in their defence!

No wonder they ended up in L2 I have said this before but different people can play at a better level when they get a change and feel they have people around them who give a damn about them, maybe both Elmer and Tutonda feel they have support there, the team feel they see something that we do not. Both were catastrophic when with us so i don’t think we made any wrong decision. I wish them both good luck as it’s not like they would be on wages that will allow them to retire.

I wish Dave all the best. Max, not so much after his parting message. Both culpable for Gillinghams relegation then struggle last season so I think it worked out ok for us in the end

Personally was disappointed when we let Tutonda go. Thought he had potential with more game time.
Remember his cracking goal ina pre season friendly and thought we had a real gem in our hands.
As for Ehmer however…………..

As for Ehmer however………….. Tutonda looked like a prime Roberto Carlos in one of the home games I saw, then he got worse and worse after that and his positional sense was non-existent. I dont think Gills fans rate him much either so maybe conference is his level where he did well for Barnet.

Nick Powell. Was he the next wonder kid who went to Man U as a teenager? I’d forgotten all about him He gave one of the best individual displays I've seen at the Mem when Crewe demolished us 5-2 towards the end of the Buckle era. Scored a couple and generally caused loads of problems. Nick Powell to Wrexham? Would rip up that level if they can keep him fit.
