Is he playing in Marcus Stewart’s charity match? Hopefully our minority element of Burberry clad Bell End fans won’t ruin the occasion with tasteless, moronic chanting. Unfortunately Eric you can bet your bottom dollar that this will happen, As much as I dislike the guy ( and I really do ) I don’t like some of the over the top chants that have been dished out in the past , There is never any need to chant about wanting someone dead but the charity match , in particular, Is most certainly not the time to chant at him.

Absolutely no way. It wasn't just the fact he did the dirty it was the way he did it. The guy really is a snake. It says a lot about him as a person. Even if he was bang in form I wouldn't want him back. However as a player he seems to have lost it now. So aside form all the history he's just not very good anymore. He'll probably find a league two club to play for. He may have made a lot of money going to them lot but it sure didn't go his footballing career any good. His best days were with us and he has to live with the fact most Rovers fans hate him. He tarnished the best days of his career. We saw the type of person he is when he shook hands with Appleton to join Oxford, then signed a new deal with us, and then mocked his boyhood club with his handshake celebration against them.

Gaschat fact at its finest. “Smashing up their houses” He had his windows put in wasn’t it? Not that I ever saw. Like I said though, it appears to be one of the finest Gaschat facts. Lee Johnson had to move house after his address was made public if that’s what is being referred to, but even then he didn’t have any attack on the property, but he was sent death threats which is pretty disgusting and pathetic. If you did see any info referring to Matty Taylor’s house being attacked and windows put through, then I will happily and wholeheartedly apologise if I’m wrong!

I was in the departure lounge at Bristol Airport the summer after he left us en route to our Portugal pre season tour & The 82er squad waltzed past the bar off on their own. Snakey obviously in tow. Various Gasheads sat in different groups managed to get off a chorus of boos & hissing, he took it well enough. Nothing malicious needed when families & young kids are around.
I hope there’s nothing of that nature tomorrow but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Plymouth Argyle of contract, released: James Bolton, Conor Grant, Danny Mayor, Luke Jephcott, Adam Parkes, Ryan Law, Finley Craske, Brandon Pursall. Mayor at 32 would still be a fantastic signing but wants to return home to Lancashire with his young family. Luke Jephcott a striker age 23 pushed down starting place at Argyle this season and loaned to Swindon Town would be worth looking at ? He has plenty of league One and two experience. Connor Grant and James Bolton were both rated highly when they played, but spent most of their time injured. The sort of players we might look at, hoping they can stay fit 🤣

My mum was his next door neighbour. He got some anti social stuff but nothing broken I remember. I turned up the day Ellis Harrison was loading his possessions into the removal van with him tho as he obviously didn’t feel that safe (and could afford somewhere better!) Told him not to injure our other striker.

If you did see any info referring to Matty Taylor’s house being attacked and windows put through, then I will happily and wholeheartedly apologise if I’m wrong! I remember he did a “poor me” article in the paper. I think some other kids were rude to his kids if I recall. I clearly remember him being surprised that the reaction was so strong. He obviously doesn’t understand Bristol. You see, he could have been really gracious about it. He could have given an impassioned speech on leaving saying it was his one big shot and thanks rovers I’m sorry. He could have refused to celebrate scoring against us. He didn’t. He was completely obnoxious about the whole thing, playing to the crowd like a performing monkey for his new masters. He stabbed everyone in the back then strutted off laughing about it. It’s football. None of this justifies anything more than calling him a lady garden, because he is a lady garden. It doesn’t justify violence, and his kids have nothing to do with it. However, we are well within our rights on bumping in to Taylor to non abusively signal we think his decisions were poor ones and demonstrate a lack of character. I’m sure he will look back on the way he acted with shame one day once he grows up. We gave him hell when he came to play at the mem. That’s how it works. You took the money and did us over. We then reserve the right to make every interaction with our fans a difficult one without hospitality or manners. As Marcellus Wallace might have said “you lost all your horfield privileges” That’s how football should work. It stays on the pitch and in the ground. I’d give the guy evils and maybe mutter under my breath but that’s the price you pay. I’m sure he’s not bother by that and is happy with the money. Just don’t expect any of us to say let bygones be bygones, because we never will.

He is past his prime so I wnhhb now but its a short career.
Taylor was non league for what 3-4 years of his career before we won promotion. I can't imagine his lifestyle at North Leigh was very glamorous.
The fact that no one came in for him showed that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity for him and his family. Look at Nick. You never know what will happen, so he had to agree to the transfer.
His agents and City offered the release clause. We all think the release clause was too low, but then again he didn't have to sign a new contract and could have left for free. Like Locks for example.
He is giving up his time for free at the Marcus Stewart charity match, so I hope he gets decent applause today.

No..
The snake could have gone to any other club with our blessing.
He is now past it and will be in big decline as that is what age does to you.
His bank account will tell a different story.
But..
He had a chance to be a Rovers legend. And was on track to do that. He could have broken all sorts of records.
Unfortunately he decided to give up any sort of legacy to be an extremely bit part player for the sh**, the fans didn't take seriously and was only successful for 1 good cup run, apart from that achieved f**k all
Will be forgotten by us, the sh** and Oxford.

I assume when MT left us for City he thought he could score goals in the Championship whilst also earning a far better wage. I doubt he thought he'd spend most of his time at City on the bench.
Using your logic no player would ever leave a club when they are doing well, just in case they flopped at a higher level.

He knows how much he's hated by nearly all Rovers fans, I wouldn't have booed him personally today but glad he didn't turn up tbh
