No But some of us thank you for having the balls to post so much rubbish and as a result creating such laughter. The latest from Vigilante News is a peach of a title to invoke such mirth. Could I ask, wtf is a "Genetic Vaccine"? I have genes, my children bear some genetic inheritance as a result. As far as I know MRNA vaccines carry a code for my immune system to recognise if infected. If I had the vaccine and fathered a child, would the child inherit my immune system antigens through some genetic alteration.? The answer is no. You absolute fruit cake.

The Slovak or the twitter account? The latter seems to be full of conspiracies. I didn't look at the account tbh, just watched the video. I did also notice that the Slovak PM is accused of being pro-Russian, so that will obviously degrade any credibility he might have had amongst some observers. Always check the source, you never can tell if you are being given selective snippets, it can mean a false or otherwise inaccurate opinion is formed.

So the whole vaccine thing is an interesting one. Never in history has a single medical intervention had so much scrutiny. As some of you will know, I work within the clinical trial industry, so I've had a keen interest/following for the whole thing.
Was the vaccine rushed through? Yes absolutely. Is it safe? Yes, on the whole. Statistically, given the number of doses given, its actually super safe. In the US alone, Ibuprofen causes 41,000 hospitalisations per year, with 3,330 deaths. Following the US, of the 339 million doses given, there were 6,207 deaths, although this is does not mean its associated with the vaccine.
I saw many people on social media saying things like, "only 30k people tested in this trial and they're going to give it to the world's population? no way". It shows a real lack of understanding of clinical trials, honestly, I work on many Phase III trials where you're talking 100 patients before they can go to market. From the first 'healthy' volunteer to market, you can have roughly 150-200 people tested.
On the other side, Moderna are recently testing a new vaccine that covers all the variants, I was invited. I went to the pre-screening visit but actually turned it down when I found out that despite it being a Phase III, it was a first in human study, not something too common. In addition to that, they also informed me that I'm near a high risk group as men under 30 showed a higher risk of heart problems, roughly 1 in 10,000.
That was enough for me to back out. It made me realise though, when level of safety did they miss, because the vaccine was pushed through so quickly. Despite having one of the largest Phase IIIs in history, we didn't get the opportunity to see how it affected the population over time. Still, clearly overall there is a huge benefit to the vaccines.

Keep laughing, please. Sure there's more to follow from the whole charade. Just remember, whilst people like you were avoiding loved ones and putting a mask on to stand up and scratch your arse in the pub because experts said so..the ones handing out the rules were having party's, having affairs and visiting mates. Then you got annoyed. I didnt🙂. Oh, and the share prices for your suppliers in vaccines have tanked. They'll need to think of something to plug those gaps so watch out for the next one. Could be a nice earner for the investors amongst you. Anyone here buy one of the film sheets that Philip the nonce hugged his colleague through? Lol, what a joke. Keep laughing at me by all means 😆

Quite interesting. I'm not too big on the stats though. Too many variables for hospital admissions and associated deaths. What we're the huge benefits of the vaccines when comparing a nation with a high vaccine rate to a nation with a poor one? Did poorer countries suffer more than us or the US? Don't think so but again, stats are gathered and presented differently.

I do blame COVID for this, and quite possibly the erosion of faith in organised religion that's been replaced by those looking for some meaning. Unfortunately our very own Rickie Lambert has fallen into this type of 'movement' and can be found on YouTube talking to glasses of water. Never meet your heroes eh ?

Good to hear you’re not 😜 Anti lockdown loons. So that suggests you are pro lockdown assuming you don't consider yourself to be a loon? Lockdowns have been extremely damaging to lots of people so there should be consideration for people with different requirements imo. Anti vaccines. Please remember that I am not Anti vaccine, just extremely uncertain about the covid vax campaign. Your other points are unrelated and I don't think it's wise to put those things together as there'll be plenty of variety. Either way, why try to pigeon hole people anyway? Why alienate yourself from others?

Behaviour begats behaviour. You endorse it then. Fine. I just wonder how a person going about their day, finds a random topic online, and think to associate that with me because of this thread? Is there a limit to that sort of activity or is everything fair game? Are we trying to make the class laugh at someone else's expense for the hell of it? I'm all for a bit of banter as much as the next, but this is just silly.
