Let me help you out "Heart disease is the #1 cause of disease-related death in pilots & astronauts in the world and coronary artery disease (CAD) is found in 85% of pilot autopsies after fatal accidents [1], [2], [3]. Acute cardiovascular incidents in flight crew can result in in-flight emergencies requiring emergency diversion, or at worst a major aircraft accident" You absolute fruit. Don’t spoil things with bloody facts , whatever next ? 🙄 Appreciate the stats but this isn't quite the 'gotcha' that it's meant to be. My shared article is military specific and its not fair to compare military grade pilots with commercial aircrew. Interesting info nonetheless.

Had 5 jabs (old) and next year when offered, I think it'll be a "no thanks". Much the same with any virus or infectious illness, I'd not deliberately put others at risk anyway. Why would you think a 6th jab could be harmful to you when you’ve had 5 before ? Think I’ve just had the 3 now , I forget ? Maybe it affects memory! Just not convinced they're doing me personally, many favours.

Had a disappointing chat with my Gym Manager yesterday on the vaccines. He was a professional footballer with 2 local sides(no doubt some on here will know him). 'Advised' not to take the jab early on until his club had assessed the situation better, but went ahead as he was concerned about the impact of covid on his business and staffing. Believing the press at the time that everybody should get jabbed to avoid this n that and protect eachother etc which seemed fair enough to him at that time. 2 days after his injection, started suffering with a racing heart and pains etc. Rushed to AnE where he spent the next 12 months as an outpatient for heart issues which ended his career in the game. Docs and consultants in the industry adamant that it was nothing untoward from Moderna jab and suffered from covid.
He is now very informed on it, understandably, and has become an antivaxer loony granny killer like me!
Still, safe and effective 👍🏼

Still, safe and effective 👍🏼 Yes, there is a very small risk of Myocarditis - well done on finding the one person in fifty thousand that has suffered some kind of side effect. Must be good to know the other forty nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine people are all doing well....

Perhaps we should start voting in this way. I know 50k people in my area want to vote Labour, but we should really base the entire decision on 1 person.

Can only assume you are ignoring the excess death figures and orher reported complications. Just sharing a relevant story anyway. If you want to ridicule it thats fine by me. I'd be pretty peeved like him if it were me. Super fit and healthy to that.

Although I think pro footballers are pretty well monitored for health. I also doubt these people would risk it if they were fully informed prior to getting jabbed.

"After the first dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine/Moderna, 65.6% participants experienced mild to moderate side-effects" These will largely be harmless but for some, depending on various factors, it was clearly more serious.

What do mean, and why speak like that? I'm not a fan of the covid jabs, I am pro health and keep an eye on what I consume. I've a family and a reasonable house plus a decent job. Why is it me that's stupid and not you then?

Eat broccoli and 90% of people experience mild to moderate side-effects... You do understand the difference between an arm ache Vs heart problems? Heart problems was a 1 in 10,000 risk. How many lives were saved because of it? How many people didn't get seriously ill? In the UK, Covid vaccine saved over 100,000 people's lives. But hey, your mate should take priority because you know him.

Maybe because of the craters they thought it was a huge chunk of Swiss cheese.

You would think GH79 would stop humiliating himself like this. I start to wonder if there is some underlying issue of cognitive dissonance going on.
