So ... fixture release breakfast was ok.
TG happy with Pompey and Barnsley up first.
Two possibly three in by Monday as mentioned above... Was very clear that Club are aiming for a top six finish and will be recruiting players that will have the ability to get us there. WAQ is fully supporting financially. He has seen the quality of what has been signed elsewhere we were not in for any of them.
Apologies from me to Eddy Jennings - Even on the morning of his wedding he was trying to tie up a new deal and gave himself the challenge of getting the player over the line on his wedding day.
Everything on course for the new stand - We should not believe what we read in the media as all things are progressing well.
Everything felt a little rushed today but TG was coolest man in the room - we are in very good hands.
Also learnt today from an attendee that our highest paid player as things stand is Big JM - by some distance as well. Made me think even more that AC will need parity or will almost certainly move on as his salary was far lower.

Unfortunately the Bristol post seem to have forgotten to replace Sam frost so nothing coming out from them. No gas article since 14th June yet the sh*t get 2/3 a day. I'm a bit surprised they haven't even covered the cup draws today, Bristol World now seems to be leading the way in local Rovers coverage although most of their articles do seem to be click bait. It looks like James piercy is trying to cover both clubs now but obviously focusing primarily on his club city. We are getting next to zero coverage so hopefully an appointment will be made by them soon to cover us next season.

Having attended for the first time I was quite surprised no one wanted to ask TG any questions in front of the room apart from myself who asked about the planning portal with BCC. I think the event could have been better with more input from attendees tbh. Hay ho,

Was strange today - not really helped by the host DB turning up late and after that things just seemed pushed through quickly. People seemed more interested in grabbing a bacon and sausage bap or coffee than anything else. Felt a bit clicky this time round - probably won't bother again.

Thank you for the update guys - it sounds like we're doing ok. EJ trying to get one over the line on the morning of his wedding gives more context to Wael's Instagram post!

How can anybody be "happy" with those two fixtures with JB likely to be missing both of them it's hard to think of two worse fixtures, it's almost as if the FA fixed a difficult start for us after banning JB.

Quite right. Our CEO should come out and state the fixtures are an absolute catastrophe and that well bottom of the table after the first few games. Jeez!

Or he could just take the middle ground and admit that they are two tough looking fixtures and we need to be ready for the start of the season (for a change).

I suspect whatever he said you’d have taken a contrary view. Seems to be the way you roll !!!

I don’t see what we’ve been told to “not believe” Bristol Live haven't reported anything on Rovers for weeks! Until the plans appear on the Planning Portal then no real progress can be made, even if discussions with the planners are taking place in the background.

So unlikely to hear anything til Monday when we could get return to training, 3 signings and a new kit news? Maybe they've been waiting on the Post replacing Frosty to write it all up!
