Wonder if we could tempt Taylor Moore to remain in Bristol? Be a great pickup in L1. Has good L1 and Championship experience. If he want's to stay in Bristol we would be a good fit but I don't think he's a JB type of CB. Mind you Wilson isn't really one either so we might be going more old school at the back. Would have to take a drop in wages and a bit concerned that Shrewsbury haven't snapped him up! |

It is now being reported that Lewis Gibson is in advanced talks with the Muff! Would have been nice to have kept him but Everton appear to want him to play in the Championship! Wasn't this the case a few days ago. Was it stalled or was he just there as A Trialist |

For reference, I’ve heard he was of interest to us & is friends with a certain Mr Gorringe & Adam Mahoney (our Head of Analysis) on social media… I assume his friendship with Adam Mahoney dates back to his time together at Swansea City? Looks like he'll be a decent signing if there's any truth in the rumour. GC was sounding him up as a potential Wales international last season. |

Looks like he'll be a decent signing if there's any truth in the rumour. GC was sounding him up as a potential Wales international last season. Praised for being versatile in terms of playing on the left and right of defence but also in midfield as well. Sounds like would be a decent replacement for Harry Anderson to be able to cover multiple positions when required. |

Vale seem to be building a good squad. Picking up a lot of quality L2 players. they might be losing the CB Will Forrester they got from Stoke for decent money though (Bolton and others interested). Shame Stoke let him go to them rather than Taylor to us |

So basically us and Argyle have done a straight swap, Wilson and Gibson. Gibson being younger may seem more attractive but Wilson is a League 1 champion. So I think that’s ok. Id have liked Gibson to stay but it was unlikely and there’s plenty similar out there. UTG! |
