It’s a shame but that’s the drawback with loans, they are never yours and the better they do with you the more likely someone higher up takes a punt on them. So basically us and Argyle have done a straight swap, Wilson and Gibson. Gibson being younger may seem more attractive but Wilson is a League 1 champion. So I think that’s ok. Id have liked Gibson to stay but it was unlikely and there’s plenty similar out there. UTG! Not convinced that Gibson is ready for the Championship - Argyle will be stretched a lot this season and I wont be surprised to see Gibson injured and out for a long time by Christmas. I hoped we could have met the transfer fee if we could then it must have come down to Gibson deciding he was ready for Championship football, rather than spend another season at Rovers. Like you I'm not sure he is ready and another full(?) season in L1 might have been the better option. Particularly if Muff spend all season in a relegation fight and we're at the other end of the table. So his George Friend going to be Gibson's replacement or back up for his replacement? |

I assumed that George Friend would have signed by now and that he’d at least played a small role in the Melksham friendly. Any particular reason for the hold up?

Charlton fan on twitter just tweeted that we along with them have made a £325k bid for Alfie May. Now a few weeks ago when there was a tweet by the club that everyone including myself thought it was a hint of a new signing Charlie who does the Rovers Vlog tweeted for a laugh that Wael had started following him. Anyway when I looked I am pretty sure that the only mutual link on IG was May and Marquis which would have been from their time at Doncaster. Anyway when I checked back around 20 minutes later May was following JB but I am pretty sure that he wasn't the first time I looked as like I said the only link was with Marquis. 🤔🤔🤔 Like I said previous, I am certain he wasn't following Joey previously. |

I think IF we sign May, that would mean Collins will be off as that would be how we fund it?
Hope I'm wrong but if we can have both of them there will lots of goals next season.
