Says who and how much for a signing on fee?? Still a risk for an unproven players. Lots of players can't make the step up. I can't give my source, but it was from someone who made an approach to sign him and I've no reason to doubt him. Not sure about the signing on fee. Always a risk with any signing, but at 4k per week it seems a risk worth taking. Will watch how he gets on with interest. Didn't we want £10m for the Snake at one point? Wanting and getting are two different things. |

Annual summer gas moan coming from me, the gaffer said he wanted majority of players in for the start of pre season, I imagine that’s only in the next 10 days - 2 weeks since the Melksham game is this month, hoping for a busy 2 weeks. Come on Eddy!!!

A fit Harry is an asset in this division. Already know Stevenage are gonna beat us twice with Steve Evans winding Joey up until he is sent off! |

Nine days left until the players report back and the all important team bonding with the Marines.
JB has said he wants FiVE in by then - I’m starting to think he has once again led us down the path of false hope or he is including the four who have signed new contracts .
Appreciate it’s still early ish but how many times are we told in a season about the importance of a full pre season…. Some of the other teams who will be around us are completing good business too.
All that said - a couple of decent signings and we will be back on track. Things can change very quickly. Just wish I had more confidence in Jennings and his ability to recruit.

Expectations very much lowered, it seems we either cannot afford primary targets or we have to look at loans. Wael has spent a lot and also borrowing, for the south stand. I do not expect anywhere near 12, 5 is what i have said and, by that, i mean 5 new faces and not who was already here. MF and wingers, as a priority please. A competent hard man who can push forward wouod be lovely |
