Bolton look as if they are losing dion Charles to Stoke. Would imagine jch would be a better fit there and they should be able to afford his wage demands

The good news is that this window is still open for incomings... and outgoings

Josh Murphy could be a good signing now that Oxford are open to offers. I guess they are looking to reduce their wage bill so could be free. He's fast and experienced, still only 28. His twin brother plays for Newcastle.

Based on the opening games this season, I’d still be on the lookout for a LB as well tbh

We still have George Friend to come back in LB You sense the season could be over before he ever gets fit enough to play? He seems to have replaced Rodman on the physio table.

I think he offers something we haven't currently got, a striker who is good in the air for one.

Even in his youth days I rated him highly and thought he had big potential with his pace, power and ball striking ability. Good age at 25, can play all across the forward line and still more to come as not yet fulfilled potential IMHO.

Seems to want to stay in the north west

Interesting, I find he gets caught in possession all the time and creates problems for us. He never crosses the ball and defensively I’m not sure how good he is. If Thomas wasn’t putting in the shift he was, Gordon would he a lot more exposed IMO.

Thomas plays on the right , Gordon on the left. Not sure I understand your point.

Jesus, calm down. Apologies, got my sides confused there. Feel free to ignore my 2nd line, but my 1st line stands. Next time you see some scintillating defending, passing, ball control or crossing from Gordon, let me know. Unfortunately I think we'll wait a while. If we're serious about play offs, Gordon isn't the LB to push us on IMO.
