Jack Payne moving to MK Dons from Charlton & they’ve made Charlie Kirk available for transfer too. Fire sale - could they come in for JCH? I said someone like Charlton or Oxford could well move for JCH yet. |

Armstrong is contracted until 2025. JCH until next summer. Still a crazy price for Armstrong, but thats the difference. Also being suggested Wrexham are bidding £300k+ for Hanlan. |

Heard just now that Swansea have made contact regarding Aaron Collins….. If Collins was to leave and we are in for a striker anyway, do people think we'd need to sign another to replace Collins? Or already happy with our options there and still just need the striker? |

Armstrong is a big physical striker without a great deal of football ability, in my opinion. I’ve seen him a few times. I think league 2 is very much his level. |

Heard just now that Swansea have made contact regarding Aaron Collins….. Sheffield Wednesday were reported to be looking as well - In a worst case scenario of AC leaving and JCH not joining - Have we still got enough fire power at least until January window or will we look to find an alternative lesser known potentially? Hoping we land JCH but i have a niggling doubt and think we might see someone else instead. |

Aren't a lot of the rumours saying that if you add on the money that Posh owe us and then any performance related add ons then the deal would be £1m+? |

Last time I saw him play when Harrogate played at Rovers -- He looked like and played like a Sunday League player. He was awful that day. |

As I said yesterday, AC leaving and funding JCH seems feasible. I would take this, if we have £1m in the bank, plus future funds should AC kick on.
Think I would then want another fast winger/playmaker. With Vale as cover.

A Mackem pal of mine told me this morning that if Ross Stewart leaves this week there is a strong feeling that Sunderland might turn to AC -
Clearly there are a lot of potential movements that can happy in the next few days ....

A bit unusual to be into the last few days of the transfer window where we have already, effectively, filled up our loan quota. I know we can sign more if we want, but then leaving any of them out of the matchday squad seems unlikely.
Usually we have 1 or 2 slots open for any late opportunities. But we'll probably be focusing on permanents this time, hopefully they've got some other options for if JCH doesn't happen.
