Sure of what? Him pleading guilty to one charge is in the public domain following his last court appearance. "Jevani Brown, aged 28, appeared at Exeter Crown Court today and pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating following an incident in Musgrave Road in the early hours of February 2nd.23 Mar 2023" you said he 'Will' be found guilty, I know about the 1st one, r u saying he will be found guilty of the 2nd one aswell? I'm not having a dig I'm just interested? Nobody can answer that one, we will have to wait for their trial. For the record, I haven't said he "will' be found guilty of the second charge that he has pleaded not guilty to.

You answered this in your previous post - he had a Championship club waiting to sign him. And he’s not waiting for them because he’s knows he’s going to be found guilty. It’s his ex manager as well, a higher level of football, he knows Rotherham won’t touch him but we will. And for this reason, I’d be waiting till July 6th. Hear the facts, any sponsor struggling financially now have the perfect excuse to walk. Proper Rovers mess as usual, put Tutton in a terrible position. Roland Menayese was convicted of assault by beating when he was with us, I don't remember anybody saying that this had put Adam Tutton in a terrible position. Why bring Adam into it?

We have a position where fans now are so desperate for success that they are throwing all their morales out of the window, just like the club. He has a Championship club in waiting in Rotherham United. We haven’t gone under the radar on this, we have just got in first because we have offered him security before his court case. Exeter and Rotherham have done the right thing, they have both said basically, innocent until proven guilty, if innocent or we hear the exact facts, we will then make you an offer. Why wouldn’t Rovers wait to see the outcome, it’s 10 days away? We have split the fan base, the head of Her Game Too has had to deactivate her social media account because of trolling abuse, proper threats. The managers wife dialled 999, why don’t we wait to hear the witness statements and the victims and then make a decision? We haven’t because we are desperate and we have no morals and conscience as a club. Adam Tutton resigned from the St Paul’s Carnival because they were selling t-shirt with a gun on it. He has to resign now if we sign a player found guilty in a court of law battering/beating up a women. But all this said, just wait for the outcome and evidence to be heard. I applaud Exeter City and Rotherham United, they are putting their club’s reputation, the fans and their community first, we are putting on the field success first, how would all you posters feel of this was your daughter or sister who was the victim? Hear the evidence, see the courts decision, then make your decision on employing the person, this bloke isn’t the messiah of lower league football. He has already pleaded guilty to one charge, so how are Exeter and Rotherham doing the "right thing". Are they saying, one assault is fine, but they won't be keen if he is found guilty of the second charge? Is that what you are applauding? How is that putting their club's reputation first? Caz hasn't deactivated her social media account, I see her work with Her Game Too as making football a comfortable, safe environment for females to be. Nothing to do with the private lives of players, she shoud be allowed to support her club without getting dragged into that side of things. To be pedantic, this bloke is not going to be danger to women attending games, wherever he plays, as he will be on the pitch!

Who remembers that friendly played against Erlestoke prison about 1982 so manager Bobby Gould could look at the inmate Steve ? A fast talented winger who had been inprisoned for assault
We did not pursue interest once he left prison.
Bob Newton was another jailed for breaking into houses and stealing property. Manager Gould gave him a short term contract during our Twerton Park days.
However the most intriguing case in Rovers History involves a Rovers forward captured by the Germans during the Great War and interned in a prison camp in the Netherlands. Rovers managed to get his release to play matches at the weekend and he returned back to the internment camp. If anyone wants more details get in touch.

Would people still be against the signing IF a not guilty verdict comes in/gets thrown out and the offence he’s previously admitted too was actually a shove or a push after all?
Merely curious.
Still convinced the club believe this will be the case & the admitted offence was not as it all seems by the headlines. Wael would not employ an individual who sparked out an innocent bystander. IMO anyway.

He felt that strongly about the gun t-shirt that he couldn’t represent the St Paul’s carnival, this is a man with a conscience and morals, we have put him in a terrible position, can’t you see this? Only last week Adam did a Twitter post re young males and the dangerous influence of Andrew Tate, isn’t a man who hits women an influence on young males?

I suggest you message Charis, she is in quite a bad way re all this.

Gas memory and a half on you Tills! That episode came and went without so much as a whisper on here, lad drove dangerously & then assaulted a member of the public who tried to stop him leaving the scene. All Whilst he was with the club. So a more than valid point😄

Can you explain how Exeter and Rotherham are doing the right thing, when he has already pleaded guilty to one charge?

All Whilst he was with the club. So a more than valid point😄 Blimey, I cant even remember that. Either because im getting older or because it just wasnt made public. Just to be clear though, its not the fact hes assaulted someone thats the problem, blokes tend to get into a scuffles when theyre young and there is a list of endless sportsmen that have done so and still represented club and country. Its the fact the assault is on a female and that every club nearly now are trying to promote kinder behaviour to females at games through HGT, of which, the founder member is a gashead and BRFC were one of the first to support the initiative. Are we saying be nice to females at football but not in life in general and its ok to have the face of your club with people with a history of violence against women outside of the game? It's interesting to have your view on it as a female Tills. As a bloke its often hard to empathise beyond the "you dont hit women" instruction that has been drummed into you since birth.

Rollin was an employee and the club had to make a decision re his employment, employment law also stipulates that outside offence is not a sacking one.
We have a choice on Brown to employ him, Rollin was an employee.
The two clubs are waiting to hear what his guilty admission is in court, how do you know he never threatened death, rape, etc on text message? None of us know the case, why not wait to hear it?
None of us knew what Mendy did until the witness took the stand and the CPS presented their evidence. None of us knew that Adam Johnson had sent text messages to the victim until we heard the CPS case.
Philip Schofield lied to his employers, Brown could well be for all we know, let’s see the evidence and hear the case like Rotherham and Exeter.

I’d also add Tilly, Rollin put Tutton in a position that was forced on him and the club being an employee, he couldn’t dodge this one, all part and parcel of his job. With Brown, we have chosen to put this on Adam and the community department, I repeat we had no choice with Rollin.
I hope this clears this up for you.

Ah, so the club couldn't have sacked JB, even if he was found guilty. Interesting.

Either way, both cases put Adam in a "terrible position", if something goes strongly against your personal beliefs I don't think that you can pick and chose which ones affect you. You seem to be trying to use this a stick to beat the club with, by using people who are associated with Rovers in various ways, and other clubs, as your armoury. Personally, I'm not in favour of the signing at the moment. Holmes seems to have a good grasp of what happened, and it doesn't sound great.
