Interesting he’s updated his Twitter bio, nothing about us, it’s as if he’s embarrassed

Has he actually been at our last 2 pre season friendly games?
Very weird he doesn't even mention rovers in his twitter bio given he names all his ex clubs. Strange times.

How come they're still trying to flog Thatchers End ones now then when they sold out last year? Because there’s more capacity in the Thatchers end this season compared to last season I believe. no need to be sensible

Why on earth would listen to Joey Barton on anything that does not relate to BRFC? Why on earth would I listen to Tucker Carlson, a man who used his position in the media to spread misinformation and lies, a man who managed to get himself sacked from Fox News over it. Why on earth would I listen to Andrew Tate, a repulsive human being who is up on human trafficking charge and rape. Unless I wanted an insight into the madness of their Psyche. Which I don't. I have no idea why Barton listens to them, or what on earth he found interesting. That's up to him But he is manager of our club, and he chose to tweet that. Which lends himself to the charge of idiocy. With Tucker - he's a journalist. Do you think any other media personality is different? I'll tell you what the difference is - Tucker admitted it, whilst the rest of the world seems to believe journalists have our best interests at hand 😅 Good points raised about the media establishment , being fed the party line. The parables of the Matrix aren't Tate's. Neither are they exclusive to the film. The philosopher Jean Baudrillard wrote Simulacra and Simulation in 1981. Another good point in that interview is about Weak Men. What happened to Philip Schofield? He went into hiding. Huw Edwards? He tried to top himself and has been sectioned. Weak men... Tate... Does a public interview and talks for 2.5 hours about his side. Even a judge and a jury have to listen to the accused despite their reservations. And I guess ultimately this will all come out in the wash. It could be argued that Tate and Carlson aren't an insight into their own psyches, but raise concerns over the psyche of society and the direction of morals, principles and sociological developments. Which, in of itself, are quite interesting even if the content is contrasting enough to make you think about it. Come on Westy. Tucker Carlson was integral in spreading a false narrative on the last Presidential election. A narrative that led to violence on Capital Hill and people died. You cannot condone that surely, you cannot find that "interesting" without being repulsed, can you?

To answer your first question, yes he has! I was sure I read that he wasn't at one of them due to a prior engagement? EDIT: Just checked he was not at Eastleigh. But he was at Cardiff. Just checked. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/eastleigh-bristol-rovers-live-updates-8585023

A social media policy for a work place is nothing new or unusual.
We clearly don’t have one or if we do it doesn’t apply to the manager.
The CEO knows better than to question the owner over Barton, he’ll end up like all the other board members who did that…..down the job centre.

For the few very vocal voices on here wanting him out we’re probably going to have record season ticket sales this season. Context. How do you know it’ll be record sales?

Just wondering where the record sales shout had come from as I can’t see any type of news that indicates that to be the case.

As I said - every.single.media.outlet.and.journalist is spreading lies, misinformation and opinions that suit the shareholders, presented as facts. If you honestly believe Tucker is the only one, then I don't know what to tell you other than you have an entire sheep on your face, and it might be time to pull the wool down

Having a tyrant such as Barton in charge is having a really disastrous affect then Why should people not support Rovers if they don't support the manager. Many did not support Coughlan yet still went to games. Not saying the fans shouldnt support the team, but having Barton as manager hardly seems to our detriment like many on here would like to think

However it does seem plausible that once the south stand is built more people will go there. We’ve been crying out for a proper seated stand for years now (no secret the terracing can be hard on the old knees for some) so I’m anticipating to see quite a few take up ST in there once built.

I’d be shocked if the club sell many in that end though. Makes things difficult if they want to give away teams more.

All of which has led me to believe JB knows how lucky he is having an owner like Wael, who appears to have a remarkably high tolerance level when it comes to what breadth of behaviour and social media activity he allows from JB. I don’t think, as has been said, there is another owner/club who would allow JB that ‘freedom’ of do stuff. Elsewhere I think he could and would have been sacked on several occasions. He does get bored and I don’t think he has the patience to build the squad for gradual improvement to the point where we can seriously challenge for promotion. He’s not interested in gradual improvement, he wants it now. But I don’t think he’ll resign or anything like that because he’s intelligent enough to know there’s not another football managers job coming along. He’s stuck with us and we’re……. But if he concentrates on the football and stops all this stupid stuff trying to get a reaction then he’s got a chance of doing well but that rarely happens. UTG! Think JB has paid tribute to Wael numerous times and is indeed grateful that we have him for an owner as we should be, think your last sentence is good advice for all of us on the forum, we can but hope!

It’ll be interesting to see how many clubs would/could take a maximum allocation we’d allow. Top of my head. Portsmouth, derby, reading, maybe Exeter and Bolton if doing well? Other than that, I’d say the rest would probably just need the side terracing and a section like previous season.

For the few very vocal voices on here wanting him out we’re probably going to have record season ticket sales this season. Context. I am a ST holder, dont vocally support him but still support the team and club. Would celebrate as hard as anyone if we go up this year. Just wish he'd concentrate on that, not exactly got a stunning L1 record with us. Even the biggest Barton fans must know it will end in tears, sooner rather than later.
