Annoyingly a potentially good signing for them, unless he's now well past his best he could score a few goals at L2 level.

Further he slides😄😄😄
He was pretty woeful at Oxford, no guarantee he’s still got it even at L2 level. Mullin will make him look Sunday league.

Another Gas legend will be unveiled there by the end of the week 👍💙 As he reunited with Darrell at Port Vale, would make sense to do it again maybe...

61 goals in 3 years at Rovers
65 goals in 6 years since
I wonder if trading hero status at an ‘on the up’ Rovers was worth a very quick payday after all and 4 different clubs since.

Although Oxford were a bit of a basket case club last season.

David Horseman … the new man in power at FGR ? Ex City not that I'd ever heard of him, I see Louise Carey is also joining him from Soton. Those two can't have come cheap.

Although Oxford were a bit of a basket case club last season. He was at AG for 2 and a bit seasons, he’d have to have been on mega money to earn something he could retire on surely. Motivation could be it, his goals return/club hopping since he jumped ship all points to someone fading on a downward spiral.

Very FGR.
Recycled rubbish, likely to achieve nett zero.

Plus a signing on fee and likely trebled his wages. I’d be surprised if he’s not a millionaire

Unpopular opinion/fact.
Whilst he wasn’t great for city he had a superb record for Oxford before last season.
164 games and 64 goals isn’t a bad return at all, before his poor season last year it was 58 in 135.

And of course because of what he did in Jan ‘17 he’ll never get an objective opinion on here! I understand that. But, in May ‘14 if someone had said that MT would score all those goals for us and get us back into the league and then another promotion to League 1 and then sign for the **** I’d have bitten their arm off. I suspect most on here would have agreed in May ‘14 but circumstances changed so they didn’t in Jan ‘17.
I don’t have the hate for him that others have, I’m just grateful he scored all those goals for us. It’s about BRFC and being successful and he helped during those years. I don’t expect others to agree with me.
UTG!
