My annual reminder that pre-season games mean sweet FA , win lose or draw . Quite. Very promising though and cause for optimism. But we've had brilliant pre-seasons previously only to go on and have a massively sh*te league campaign - was it the Buckle one that stands out? |

Pre-seasons mean nowt, no points lost or gained, we have all seen opposing league campaigns from good pre-seasons and vice-versa

Positives:1) We will have learned a lot about this league last season. 2) we have a stronger squad (imo) 3) The league is weaker (imo) 4) Better crowds and better atmosphere with the new stand. All these metrics point to a higher league finish; play offs definitely a possibility. UTG

Honestly, what did they have to learn last season that they didn't already know? Sounds like a lame excuse for finishing lower than promised. Last season Barton promised playoffs and we finished midtable, this season it's promotion. I'll give you my prediction in January  |

I would love Rovers to be undefeated for the 2023-34 season or equalling the 27 games without a loss back in 1973-74! That is league games.
