Some of the comments on this thread remind me of a couple of dogs we rescued recently, no matter how many times I throw the ball in the garden they want more, it's like an obsession that never ends.
Football in general is like this now, an entitled view from someone who contributes a small amount towards the club demanding more and more from people who invest millions into the club, it's nuts!
Doesn't anyone stop to think about what Wael and Hussain do for a living and consider how many hours are needed each day to run multi-million-pound businesses?
There is one fundamental difference between time spent at work and time spent on Rovers, one earns money and the other loses money, I think we're all smart enough to know which one is which.
Thankfully, most fans realise this and await with patience, safe in the knowledge that last week a hugely positive development occurred for the club that will make a big difference for the longer term future of the club.
Sadly every club has a proportion of fans who want and feel they have the right to know absolutely everything about how the club is being run every single day, it must be exhausting if you are a CEO and read comments.
It all reminds me of my ex-wife who I miss like a hole in the head, a constant loop of when are you going to earn even more money, why haven't you been promoted yet bla, bla bla, whinge, whinge, whinge, on and on and on and never-ending, relentless entitlement......
I wonder how many fans would drop their paid day job that pays for their part-time hobby and spent more time on the hobby, none, if they had any sense.
But it's fair game for fans to endlessly demand, expect and then criticise when it doesn't meet a timeline they create, they who stick in about £20 every other fortnight.
Always seems to be the same, the minority making more noise than the majority with a constant stream of negativity, so draining for people with a glass half full approach to life.

We’re just asking for a bit of info on the people who are taking over our club that we’ve all spent a lifetime supporting. A football club means a lot to its fans …. The time wasted on here is testament to that 😂!

The time wasted on here is testament to that 😂! It's only an odd comment to you because you don't agree with it, others do, thats life. Information was released earlier in this thread stating what the new owners do, its there to research, one company is real estate (the reason they are here) the other a restaurant chain. I would imagine a huge amount of work is going on behind the scenes to get the stadium over the line, work containing endless detail to pour over for the biggest project in the clubs history, Iv'e wondered how many emails billionaires and millionaires get each day and how they manage to sleep at night, even before being crazy enough to own a football club! Here we are as a club, graced with people who want to pour millions of pounds into the club to get us playing at the highest level possible, but for some it just isn't enough, can't even wait a week from arrival of new owners. I'd love to be sat in the seat I had earmarked for the south stand to celebrate 35 years watching Rovers as I'm unable to stand for more than a couple of minutes, next home game is looking like Christmas, not going to jump up and down about it, blame the owners and anyone else involved, will just sit back and let others act in a way that justifies Australias view of us as whinging poms.

Who said they want to pour in millions and want us to play at the highest level possible? They haven’t said anything yet and that’s the point . Fair play to you if you’re happy knowing nothing , but I’d like to hear a bit more and don’t think that’s unreasonable or that it makes me entitled in your view. 🙄

But the non-stop questioning of whats next, how much, when, where never stops. I'm more than happy with the way Wael arrived in 2016, what he said at the time, what he has done since to back that up and trust in him to get this right, it's just my opinion that the constant demand for more answers is draining, the club has until March to get it's house in order in conjunction with Conygar. Given the choice, I'd much prefer the owners pressed on with that than spend time appeasing non share holders, and when the project is at a stage when the owners are confident that an announcement can be made then great. To be frank, i don't think its anyones business what the new owners are worth, unless they are directly affected as a shareholder of course, personally think it shows a mistrust in Waels judgement to demand numbers from them, the new owners and Wael have a colossal job on their hands between now and March. And even if numbers were released they would only be dissected, pulled apart and a negative spin from somewhere would soon appear to depress at a time that is a very exciting our club. Thankfully it seems as though they are making that a priority over fan appeasement.

Assume they have passed the EFL "test".
Irrespective there have been clubs that have got into all sorts of trouble following take overs etc. It would be comforting to understand more to know all is going to be well.

Wael cleared large debts previously and has spent millions. Debts would have built up since then and they have already said that they have made us debt free again. Plus what ever they paid for the 55% and Wael has said they will help achieve our targets quicker.

The EFL test isn’t worth the paper it’s written on judging by some of the dodgy people who’ve passed it before 😂 ! Im sure our new leader is a stand up geezer , just a decent statement to the fans would go down well 😀

That's basically what they are saying, but they don't want to say we will increase the budget etc as prices will go up!

I have been a huge football fan for many years, and it has always been my ambition to own a stake in a club. BRFC is the one club that I most desired to be a part of, due to its great fanbase and future potential. "From this day on, I assure the fans that we will be working tirelessly on the sustainability and growth of the football club. Rovers are a club with huge potential that is still untapped, and it is our duty to make sure that we do everything possible to improve the current state. "I have really enjoyed my time in the lovely city of Bristol, and I hope to contribute to the community in the best manner possible. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our beloved fans for their continuous support to the club. I look forward to meeting you all at our first home game of the upcoming season." Everything the club does or plans seems to be shrouded in secrecy nowadays. Obviously we have no inherent right to know these things, but it's frustrating at times. Maybe I'm imagining it and it's always been this way. We definitely hear a lot less from Wael in the past couple of years though. I think this was evident when the club gave no information nor updates when all the court cases were going on and, some months later left us with a small piece on the official site.

It is telling that Weal has invested so much and yet is willing to allow someone else to purchase a majority share rather than for Wael to sell his own shares. Forgive me but if you sell 55% of the shares then are you not selling more than half of your own share, by doing so ?

The new owner has already said he will meet us on Saturday, I expect him to be paraded on the pitch and asked some questions by our own man on the mic. I have learned not to expect anything and that way, IF the clubs fans do get some basic replies then it’s a bonus

Please don't let it be as cringeworthy as when Wael was asked on his first appearance if he had his wallet on him. 😂 i thought that was really funny to be honest, good old fashioned Rovers humour. That video of Jake Barber ( sp) did not age well though

Bit of an overreaction there i think. I do not think that answering a couple of basic questions is asking too much. I have not seen anyone post that they want to know intimate questions.
